I dunno, but whenever I see it mentioned, I run. Every beer was like licking concrete.

As for the FFTK.. Unless there's some disparity between bottles, I don't think it's deserving of the low rating it has so far. It's pretty good, solid 4-4+ on Untappd in my opinion. I can see where someone picked up the mineral flavor, but to me it's so minimal that it's not really bothersome. Worth picking up and trying.

Definitely not from the egg. I haven't cracked one yet but I can imagine minerality coming from cherry pits if whole cherries were used. Just a thought...

I'm drinking a FFtK right now and there's no problem with my bottle, its great. Maybe not quite as good as I remember b1 being, but its close and an awesome beer in any case. I do get "mineral" but its not a negative, it works and adds to the depth of the beer.

I think the BA community is over the madness and these beers, with good reason. IG in the other hands thinks these are tired hands best beers. Just my two cents.

FFTK is tasting great in my opinion. Not quite as rich as I remember the first batch being but that’s not a bad thing. Minerality comes across as cherry pits to me. Delicious.

No idea. Anybody care to comment on when shakes have been lasting to recently?

2ish or a little earlier sounds like the sweet spot where you might not have to wait in line and still manage to get some, but I would think it depends heavily on allotments and batch size.

That is ridiculous that almost 1000 allotments in 2 hours. Were a lot of people double dipping/mules? Saw some Instagram comments about people getting cases.

Apparently around 1:30 there was no line and still a bunch left so surprised it sold out that early.

Got there around 1230 and waited for 10 minutes..actually saw them call someone out for trying to double dip, while the guy behind me was just excited he "could re-sell these online for $80/4pk."
All in all, was a very easy release imo.
