Great time today. Thanks Andrew from OH for being so hospitable and the surprise appearance by local OH BA celebrity and canning superstar @Kanger . Great meeting @afroskully , @SpinSamzo , @rozzom , @RobNewton , @FlamingMoe , @prettygood and surprise entry @Jtbel1988 !

And the winner of the first Other Half trivia contest is @RobNewton ! Although I miscalculated the final math problem, great having a Math PHD validate the answer to the math question. For his efforts he took home an bottle of Pipeworks "The Final Act".

For those of you who would like to take the quiz for fun and no prizes, go for it at : https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9G39YVJ

Took the quiz and pretty sure I got 0% right (except for the math equation, of course). You planning on posting the answers?

Same here. If I get just one point I’ll be pumped. I lost my signed first edition of “Hopped to the Nuts: The jrync Story”, so was stumped on question two

Wish I could have made it to the meetup, there is always the next Potatoes release!

Is this week's Hop Showers release another new variation or is it the standard recipe? The Vic's secret Hop Showers was one of my favorite/most surprising OH releases of the last year.

There's a lot of mosaic on this one. It's that smooth and hazy hop showers that the past couple have been with a ton of mosaic flavor. I might prefer this to DDH DMD.

Mosaic edition, like Mr Newton said. I thought the Vic Secret version was stupendous, too. This one is still great, but doesn’t have that Vic Secret sparkle.

My personal favorite was the motueka. I'd drink that forever.

That Vic Secret was an incredible beer. I unfortunately don’t get to OH so regularly, but I am not disappointed that was one of the 4-packs I had the opportunity to pick up.

I haven’t had any previous hop showers to compare, but it’s my favorite of yesterday’s release

I don't remember his name but who was the tall dude with the long blond hair? And does he still work there? I haven't seen him in ages but I go at pretty random times.

Ex-bierkraft guy? Yeah I don’t know his name either but saw him there fairly recently

Coming up this weekend for first visit to NYC, and let's say there's a collab with Monkish. 6AM early enough to guarantee an allotment? Will be ready to face the truth and camp out with my BA stouts, just in case I need to be there at 3AM.

Hmmm..not sure about that. Never saw him at bierkraft but didn't go there that often either.

In the event that it is a collab with Monkish next weekend, I really wouldn't mind another Like Whoa-esque release where it's a massive batch of only one beer.

    How bout it, Other Half?

Probably but it depends on what the limits look like and batch size and a bunch of other things. If 4th Anni was anything to go by, I'd be there by 6 at the latest to ensure that you don't miss out.

Had 4th Anni and DDH ACE yesterday , IMHO , DDH ACE blows it away. Hopefully people keep lining up for hype and "ignore" the "run of the mill" regulars.
