ISO: mac and cheese beer. Sounds interesting.

Great box. Retribution is one of my favorite local BA stouts.

@TheMattJones88 , the box did arrive safely, and the contents look great. I was traveling Friday and yesterday, but will be posting my hauls shortly.

I don't think anyone would complain about getting mac and cheese as an extra though.

Quick question: this is my first BIF, and my intention from the beginning was to send an awesome box of beer, one I would love to receive myself. Most of the beers I have in my box to send are large format, bombers or crowlers. It seems like most of the hauls that I am seeing are smaller format, and more for a single serving. Would the preference be to send out smaller beers that are easier to consume alone, or better beers that more suited for sharing? (Or, is it a dumb question, and good beer is good beer)?

I think it's up to personal preference. Personally, I prefer smaller format (12 or 16oz cans or bottles), a big reason being that larger format beers a lot of the time tend to be a lot of work, I can drink a tallboy of a beer in a sitting, but for some reason a 22oz bottle or 750ml bottle seem like more work.

Then again, you're in Iowa, and I have to assume that some of your bombers are TG ones, so I wouldn't be angry about polishing off some of those...

I agree 100% about it being personal preference. However, I won't ever complain about any beers that I get sent to me, since free beer is free beer. I will be sending one crowler out in my box with the rest being smaller format so my target could try a larger number of beers.

Good beer is good beer. Smaller format allows you to send more variety but sometimes really good beers come in larger formats. So My thought is send a box you would be excited too receive. My box contains a lot of brewery only releases that came in smaller format so that's why i sent them. And as soon as my target gets back from vacation we can see it:stuck_out_tongue:

Loving all the boxes! Can't wait to see some more

And as for size, I think first and foremost, good beer is good beer, and folks are here to get some brews they haven't seen/had before (or stuff they've wanted etc), so I don't think anyone would really mind bigger formats. That being said, I Defs agree that a 12-16 oz format is pretty ideal for a sitting...but if it's good I've never had a problem getting th through a bomber or 750

Good luck to the rest of the senders/receivers! Keep posting them haul picssss

I have returned to the cold. And frankly need a vacation from my vacation (flying with a 1 & 3 year old was a struggle). Dog/House sitter was able to bring the package inside. Will get a haul pic up tonight/tomorrow a.m.

I think my receiver already guessed me as his sender, but it wasn't 100% clear. If not, consider this Hint # whatever!

This is the only hint you've posted, but via process of elimination, you are my only possible sender @Dworker33 !

If I still owe more hints, it's against the law for a man to buy a female bartender a drink in my target's state.

All right final confirmation that you're my sender! That Giant's World Series clue made me focus on you as my sender, but the rest of the clues could have gone to others. This one confirms it.
