    Pallbearer is overly sweet.

As far as Circle of Wolves, yes I guess it will potentially be a few years before I personally feel confident that its going to be good every time. I agree that its been great so far though.

    Agree.

Also well written @oldn00b I'm with you. I'm glad we can have a balanced thought out discussion here without emojis.

I didn't try Pallbearer, or the base SF, but the draft pour I had of Vanilla SF was one of the sweetest beers I've ever had. Sweeter than any Horns variant I've tried. I couldn't finish the 6 oz pour, and sugar crystals stuck to the side of the glass as I swirled it around.

Find myself agreeing with a lot of what’s said here. I’m a big fan of Child Support and wish they’d make it more often. Also really want more standard abv ipa’s, 2-3 hoppy beers over 8% in the same week makes no sense to me. I don’t know who buys it all, but I guess someone does.

Also really have been impressed with the couple bottled funky offerings that I’ve had so far. Make You Feel in particular really exceeded my expectations for what they’d be able to put out this early. Really bodes well for the future.

I agree with the dissatisfaction with the silly horns variants, they are more misses than hits, and usually after splitting a can with my wife, I rarely want it again. Hence why I basically don't buy 4pks of horns anymore.

A little surprised people on this forum don't like BA/V SF and Pallbearer (maybe even whangdoodle), I still am of the opinion that their barrel program, sour and otherwise, has been great so far. Pallbearer was a little sweet, but didn't detract much and it should age well. I'll take everyone's bottles that didn't like them and trade you some Lickinghole stouts that may be more to your liking.

I gotta think this bodes well for the future. Anything to make Tuesdays less maddening, or allow for getting cans on various days works for me. Sure, keep the format of announcing a bunch of things releasing Tuesday each Sunday. But maybe next time they'll drop more than one can on Friday. I'm cool easing into it. In any case, this is great news.

Last Friday's surprise drop of Child Support was nice, but a 400 case surprise drop of White Ferarri is a great sign.

Best Friday can availability at Veil to date. Ability to buy at least a case each of 5 DIPAs and 1 Pilsner is fantastic. I wonder if this will help their draft sales over the weekend...

I stopped by around 9:30 last night and there was still a lot of everything except Step Step Dad Dad. That was sold out. Line was to the the door (15 or so people) but it was a single line for both Draft and cans. Had 3 POS and 4 staff behind the bar so it moved fairly quick with most getting pours. Never been that late before and it was packed.

    2/20 Releases...
    __________________________
Uncle Cousin is our Mosaic single hop 11% Triple IPA. We basically took the grain bill and hopping rates/schedule as We Ded Mon, but instead of using all Citra we went with Mosaic.
    Shooting for approx 160-180 cases. $17+tax/4-pack. 2x cases/12x 4-packs per person

Special Combo #1 (DEBUT) - This new DIPA series is an exploration of variables in the brew process for us. This series will allow us to experiment with different hop blends, different malt profiles, different yeasts, different water treatments, etc. We will refrain from releasing too much information about each Combo in an effort to reduce subconscious persuasion and allow you to truly enjoy each deliciously joosey treat. This one clocks in at 8% and contains a hop combo we have never used before and a type of grain we have only used in 2x other beers.
    Shooting for approx 160-180x cases. $16.50+tax/4-pack. 2x cases/12x 4-packs per person

Black and Blue Tastee (DEBUT) - Tastees are kettle sour ales clocking in at 5.5%. We add a ton of lactose to these and brew them intentionally to be fuller bodied to try and replicate a fruit smoothie. We then select two different fruits and bomb them out in secondary fermentation at just shy of double fruited goses levels of fruit. For the third fruit blend in this series, we decided to use Blackberry and Blueberry. This one is literally like an adult fruit smoothie.Tastes like grandma’s blueberry pie filling with some acidity to it. The thickest Tastee yet! **PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF FRUIT IN THIS BEER AND THAT IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THESE CANS REMAIN COLD AT ALL TIMES.**
    Shooting for approx 160-180x cases. $21+tax/4-pack. 1x case/6x 4-packs per person

We most likely will have some cans left from last week’s releases(including whiteferrari). whiteferrari will remain at 2x cases/12x 4-packs per person. Any other remaining brands will move to NO LIMIT.

Whoops! Not sure how that happened (again!).

From the posts on BTV it appears turn out is quite low even for a mid 70 degree day. No need to rush on over. Wouldn't be surprised if the new cans all made it until at least tomorrow even with the high limits.

I really miss the case counts, especially now that "older" beers are going at NO LIMIT instead of a decreasing limit as the supply dwindles. There could have been 3 cases or 90 cases of DN left. I like the increased availability, it's awesome that you can roll in and get WF 4 days after it was released but it would be nice to have a better idea of how much is left/if they're running low on something with this new system.

Good thing they differentiate between the two cases and no limit beers. I've got to know which ones I can buy three cases of today.

I'm a little surprised whiteferrari has lasted this long ... tomorrow will be a full week. Wonder if we're seeing some combination of inconsistency / brand / everything hoppy is >8% fatigue in the customer base.

I'm sure that factors in somewhat, but 400+ cases is a huge run, combined with the fact that other brands have/were/are available at the same time as WF. That's a lot of beer to sell in a week.
