I want to take a quick moment to say that I must have been exceptionally tired last night! My post above is completely absent of any thank you to the great @LloydDobler for forwarding me his package! Thank you! =)

Now I have another story to tell.

Before I became a member on BA, I was perusing BA to find good beer for friends and for gifts - mostly (because I had not found a dark beer I really liked at that point - everything was too bitter for me as I have a bitter sensitivity). Then, I found out about the infamous KBS release. I was in WI at the time - in Madison - for a conference. Because of how 1 April fell last year, the delivery schedule was all screwed up - both for back home and for Wisconsin. I ended up tracking some down, but I also purchased quite a few beers in WI. These included some freshly released DDH Sue and DDH Mosaic Sue.

Like, the next week, after some help with @FFFjunkie I got into trading. After a couple weeks I found out that...I needed to trade these bottles sooner than later, otherwise they'd become trash. As a newbie, I figured out that people has "gots" and "Wants" listed on this site. I saw @LloydDobler was in Indiana, and wanted this. I knew I'd already be driving a while to meet up with Dan, so I thought maybe even if lloyd was up near chicago, I could make a trade work.

Well, apparently I was a bit too pushy to try to unload the Sue, and I made Lloyd feel uncomfortable, and like I was potentially a scammer (I did have 0 trade feedback) .

It's funny how you can make silly mistakes in your early days as a newbie. I was really scared of shipping, and I was worried I had wasted money (originally purchased as a gift, but that was not going to work out, so I wanted to trade the extras). The combination of those two was a bad thing.

Thanks Lloyd for giving me another chance . I've grown into a much more tactful trader . And thanks again for the box!

Luckily, you have all that great beer to compensate! Now stop trading it all away for glassware!

 

I mostly trade locals for glassware . And only glassware I really fancy

 

I just saw that this dropped Today In Indy. I do not live there, but I'll check my local shop again today and see if I can get any.

So, apparently it came in on Tuesday. Of my 2 stores, only 1 got 1 case. It is already gone. Since Indy got a second shipment, it's possible it will show up again on Tuesday of next week. I'll check again for you guys.

 

I have no idea where "manure" came from. Must've been some crazy random "spell correct" adventure.

Love hearing your "honest and unfiltered" story. We've all made some mistakes that, in hindsight, are pretty funny.
