Other Half February 2018

anyone there know if dmd/oh... cans / astro travellin bottles are still available...or if they are not selling cans today due to the tap takeover craziness. didn't see any update on yesterday's IG post but they were taken down from the available cans section on the website.

 

Will post my 2 cents later on regarding Monkish beer and hype, but as a PSA it's not as busy now as it was an hour ago. I strongly recommend to get here before 5pm, if you can.

 

They also don't have a set schedule like Other Half so you just have to kinda hang around the area whenever you suspect a release or be able to make a mad dash over. This is obviously to cut down on line craziness cause you can't really come from very far on the drop of a hat. But as much as I bemoan line culture, I prefer Other Half's format if only because I can actually plan when I actually feel like its worth it.

 

Did they erase it after? Just checked and the page is blank now.

 

Tried a few of them. They all taste like typical OH IPAs. Good, but I can't imagine staying up overnight for this stuff.

Packed taproom, but I got beers in less than five minutes each time.

 

Also, they still had cans of DMD, Oh, and Short Dark.

 

But the FOMO man.

 

For anyone looking to waste their Saturday morning and early afternoon, just drive to fucking Tree House.

Seems like they had “plenty” of all of them based on views of the walk-in, with maybe the most of Oh. I didn’t think the taproom was too bad, as it took only a few minutes to get pours. Enjoy!

 

Right On Man, Everyone over in California is already putting up the ISO with these two new releases. I've been looking all morning and finally found my guy. This Thirst is Real...

 

Decided not to head on down....but the FOMO is real for what's on tap. Guess I'll have some of my 4th Anniversary.

Just got here too. Missed the IPAs. Still happy to sample a couple farmhouses and try LGA 2 LGB.

Man the addition of glassware pushed me from on the fence to probably not, I mean I should've expected this but still....
