Looking forward to checking out the taproom this weekend. Pics of it look awesome. Sounds like they will have a ton of haze on.

 

They’ve had Citra! Citra! Citra! before, right? So this version is that beer, but triple dry hopped? I thought the original version was decent, so I’m intrigued by this.

 

yea, you are right, they did have it in the bottle format as a double IPA. The only description for the old version was: Citra Citra Citra Simcoe Citra Citra Citra Centennial Citra Citra…

 

3x Citra! is pretty good, worth picking up. I think it's the first triple dry hopped NEIPA I've liked.

 

I love when you can get a beer the same day it was canned. My 4 pack was still cold from packaging...

Skokie Binny’s had some and presumably Lincolnwood as well. Picked some up at 4:30 and it was still cold on the shelf. The beer guys said it had just gotten there around 3ish.

 

Anyone going to the taproom this weekend? Thinking about going up tomorrow or Sunday. Happy for Edmar and the guys/gals. The South Side has a legit brewery scene now

I had citra citra citra 2 years ago at links taproom and feel this is a different beer...did they change the recipe or am i just confused

almost positive it hasnt been tdh until now. has never been marketed this way before.

I'll be in the area for the FR release so I'll probably check it out early afternoon. Lemme know if any BA bruhs are around.

 

Any feedback on citrax3 yet? Friendly BA may pick me up some later, but if not worth it I'll happily pass.
