Same here. I have small satchel/sling bag that I take to concerts, festivals, etc. for the same reason. I've never understood why NFL stadiums continue to enforce the bag policy for non-NFL events. At least with concerts, or events, INSIDE the venue you could argue the same safety rationale applies. In the parking lot though? That's like telling someone they have to go to a park with a cleat bag.

 

I’m glad someone posted this as I usually bring a backpack and a metal water bottle filled. This sucks, and im sure many people won’t notice it. What’s with the locker for rent comment. Can I rent a locker and put my bag in there and access it throughout the festival?

 

According to the map, there will be 3 water stations. Hopefully there will be more or they're huge.

 

Yeah, our group was hanging out last night and one of the wives noticed it. Good on her, or I know I would have overlooked it. I would assume the locker rentals get you access all day, like it would at a theme park. Regarding Water bottles, it looks like your fine as long as it's not glass. "Water bottles are permitted as long as they are transparent OR empty and not made of glass."

 

I'm bummed about the NFL rules, just because it was better having a backpack with 2 1.75L bottles of water to keep hydrated throughout the day. I think this will create issues for people not drinking enough water throughout the day.

I think it's brilliant that they're putting 3 Sons in two locations this year. That has been the biggest line the last 3 years. Curious to see how the new layout goes.

As for waiting in lines, like others have said, pick a few you have to tick then enjoy the show. One of the best beers I had last year was CCBs Xquic with no line at all and was still pouring well into the afternoon.

 

Off topic: Is the Mexican Siberius Maximus an annual release by WB?

Taps at 7 PM every 5th of the month; they play mariachi music while they serve it. Music goes back to normal when the keg kicks. It's badass.

 

FYI- Was at CCB yesterday, they WILL be matching id's to wristbands. It will be CCB empoyees not voluteers

well shit. I'm getting surgery on the 7th and may not be in drinking shape on the 10th. I was hoping if I wasn't feeling up to it I could pass along my wristband to somebody else.

I'll keep that in mind but I was looking more to fly by the seat of my pants and see how I'm feeling on Friday.

I’m still bringing my small cooler back pack and a couple of clear plastic water bottles. I doubt it will be a problem.
