May just be that the beer was entirely Mosaic and Mosaic is on the pricier side...

Pretty sure the beer is citra, citra cryo and an experimental hop

Whoops. I thought it was about Mosaic Monsoon. I stand corrected- thank you for clarifying.

In this case I have to wonder if the experimental hop used is actually one designed up by a pharmaceutical company to treat cancer as that is the only way I can see justifying a $17 crowler.

You're correct. We're talking about Mystic.

But $17 crowler vs $21 growler....

This is probably the most confusing thing to me...normally their pricing structure is consistent in that a crowler is slightly less than the price of 2 pints. Never seen them have a crowler priced higher than 2 drafts and so close to pricing of a growler.

Bendy Memes was even 18 vs 26 I believe. Seems like just taking advantage of people getting crowlers

Was in Corridor last night to try the Mystic Fog and as usual it was delicious. Had a ton of citrus flavor and excellent mouthfeel and should only get better. Picked up a crowler for the weekend and cant wait to try it again.

Just a heads up that Corridor will be closed from the 26th to the 28th of February, it seems they are adding a 7th fermenter and a can cooler. Hoping that means there may be more 4-packs in the future.

Just noticed that when I checked my receipt this morning. Not sure what cryo hop pricing is like but it cant be easy keeping this much hazy beer flowing in the dead of winter without purchasing additional hops and I am sure there can be some market fluctuation. Also not sure of the amount of hops used but I would think a DDH hazy would use considerably more than standard IPA.

Just my opinion and I am sure @dubo09 will give us the scoop.

    Cheers

I'm confident we'll get the scoop from him as well, but I'm not sure I buy your points. We've seen other breweries using cryo hops and keeping hazy beer flowing in the dead of winter, and I don't think those beers/breweries have seen an increase in prices (at least not as noticeable from $12/13 for 32 oz. to $17 for 32 oz.). I'm also pretty sure Corridor has already made DDH hazy beers at the lower crowler prices, which is probably the main driver of the question.

I'm a big Corridor fan (as well as my wife...who just suggested going there for brunch on her birthday this weekend ) and will continue to support them by going there, but this spike in crowler pricing sure is noticeable and has some of us curious to know what is driving it.

the only other beer i've had with cryo is marz's cryoflayer, which was $1 more than their usual 4 packs.

haven't had the pipeworks cryo one, but that's priced the same as their usual bombers.

Hello everyone, I truly apologize for the inconvenience. I take responsibility for the error as I do the pricing. My inputed pricing into my spreadsheet incorrectly. No excuses I screwed up. If you see me or Roger at Corridor and you were affected by this mistake we would like to buy you a beer. Just grab one of us and let us know your handle and that you bought an overpriced crowler and we'll make it right. Again I apologize and will double check my math in the future, cheers.

    New Pricing
    32oz - $14
    64oz - $18

Thanks...as a devoted Excel user, I can attest to having my fair share of input errors in my spreadsheets. Luckily mine never face the ire of beer nerds!

Just a quick heads up, we will be closed today 2/26 until we re-open on Thursday, 3/1 at 11am. We are adding a much needed fermenter and cooler. Thanks for understanding, cheers.

It's cool, just make sure whatever these things are produce more IPA's.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey Guys,

Update on construction. Fermenter is in and set. However, the cooler is taking a bit longer. Therefore, we are going to be closed for lunch tomorrow (3/1). I'll update if it lasts longer. Thanks for your patience, and just think of all the fresh haze and possibly more cans that will be available in the future, cheers.

Wish list: How about putting a pre-filled crowler vending machine in by the entrance? That way if we are just popping in to pick up a few cans we can bypass the crowds drinking at the bar and waiting in line? :sunglasses:

If you're looking for suggestions as to what other beers to start canning, I'll volunteer my services: The Juice Beyond, Mosaic Monsoon (had it last night for the first time and it really impressed) and Highway to Haze.
