One more before I crash. Since I'm using the Capital glass, I figured I'd stick with the Wisconsin theme.

This is my second of the four pack my brother got me and I'm still not entirely sure what I think. The cherry flavor is huge. It comes across more as fruit beer than stout, with a clean, dry finish. Moderate tartness. I guess I need to leave style thoughts behind and just enjoy the brew. It is tasty.

    Enjoy your Thursday everybody!

It's not a terrible beer. I've had it so many times though, it's like a Fat Tire to me. Better than Bud Light. Chalk it up to living in a small town in the early 2010's.

It was awesome. We had a great time and it was done very well. It was not super crowded and the lines went quick. I voted for cherry Ode Bruin that was very good. We will go back for sure.

I pretty much deduced that if "Wisconsin Belgian Red" was to go rogue and turn into a stout, it would be this beer.

FO In the Gold Dust Rush. My last one and I am bummed. This beer is just a hop heads dream. I hope I can find some more. One of tbe best I can remember having in awhile. This is right up there with the big NE boys. All that juice but it has a nice bitter dry finish instead of the really soft feel you get in many.[IMG]

    :astonished:
Probably the aging? Or maybe they upped the pepper? They're not adverse to tweaking recipes.
I haven't had the BA version. The first time I had it, the pepper was underwhelming, and had to strain to notice, so added a bit more . The second time it was a little more. Overall, little busy for my taste. I'd rather have something simpler, & add my own pepper, if in the mood .
