    There's A Beer In My Fridge And I Need A Drink by Lervig/Cloudwater. Yes, that's the actual name of the beer. When two of the finest breweries in Europe get together to make a rye(!?) NEIPA, you know you're in for a treat. And oh boy, what a treat it is, easily in the same league as Tree House/Other Half. I wish the rye would come out a little more, except for a very light peppery spiciness in the aftertaste, but still a phenomenal beer.

    I am trying this Pale Ale for the first time, Amarillo Cascade from Prairie Artisan Ales, Oklahoma, ABV 4.00%, IBU 30. The flavor is tropical fruit, grape fruit, mango, peach, some mild floral hops and pine resin. It is light, juicy and easy drinking, good for APA/IPA beginners.

    Let's see if you can guess why I'm not at work today:

    Well, some nights the wind keeps you awake a large portion of the night. Haven't checked in to see how the northeast coast is doing, but I'm at three noticed downed trees here. One against our house. I think they might've cleared the pictured one, but I've already decided it's Friday and I am going to do a BBB vertical (4 releases). This one is the newest, the others are more tightly grouped starting from a couple years back, I think.

    Lovely looking, big char, decent alcohol note and burn. Chocolatey more than coffee midpoint, lingering coffee aftertaste.
