Mine has a 12 bottle styrofoam shipper inside of it. I’ve flown with it probably 7 or 8 times, and never had a problem. They usually leave a paper in it saying it was inspected, but I’ve never had a problem. I have also on occasion put extra bottles inside ziplock bags and then slide them into wool socks in my regular luggage.

Same here. I fly all over the place; about 70% of the time it gets inspected and I have a slip from TSA. More often than not, when I fly domestically, I'll actually tell the agent beer is inside when they ask what the bag is (most agents have never seen one so they're always curious). They could care less about the content; they really just want to make sure the beer is package correctly i.e. it hasn't been opened, tampered with, etc. Then, once they know it's beer, they make me sign a waiver that ensures they're not responsible should something get damaged in transit.

Thanks for all the responses. Guess I'll just put the foam in and carry 6. Now I have to get the others home! See ya there!

It should be a non-issue. Their main concern is leaking and breakage if anything and all risk is on you. What you will want to do though is pad the bottles from the outside and each other as well as putting all of them in sealed bags in case things get a little leaky.

I was coming to make a similar post. Weather should be fantastic.

From the video posted it sounds like they are really sticking to the bag policy which sucks. I would have like to carry a backpack with water, sunscreen, snacks etc....

Much to my chagrin, they are being sticklers with their backpack policy. Has to be clear. What's funny is the picture is of a hand held clear bag. Someone asked if they can have a clear backpack within the size limits and they just link the Huna website in response, which is of course no help.

Remembered I have a clear man satchel that I got for a Cowboys game one time. I'm just going to bring it.

I'm wearing an empty camelback and the wife will carry in the stuff we'd normally want in the backpack in a ziplock, per the policy. Then when we get in, we'll fill the camelback and toss the ziploc bag in the backpack portion.

She has a similar clear Packer bag to the one you described, with strap, but we figured this was a sure fire way to not have issues.

Yeah, thankfully the weather is getting back to normal around here. I feel like everyday in February was a new record high.

This seems like the best idea and almost a loophole to the no backpack policy. As long as the backpack has a built in bladder, it's okay I guess.

Exactly. Both of us would individually comply with the bag policy upon entry and, once we're in, then it's back to normal.

We have Bucs season tickets and My fiancé has a Bucs bag that sounds like what you guys are talking about. Since the Bucs literally gave them away for us to use when we go to games to comply with the NFL clear bag policy I’m sure they will be allowed in hunahpu’s day if that’s the policy they are following.

What's actually going to happen is if it's close and you look like you attempted to comply they'll likely let you get in with it.

Any 12 bottle people making their way out to pick up their case today? Any goodies in there?

    Got mine today.

To clear up any confusion, I bought mine when they went on sale for El Cat members, well before any talk of cuvee or VIP. So it appears all of the 12-bottle tickets are VIP and got the cuvee, even if it didn't say that when you ordered.

I also heard the bartender talking about how everyone was upgrading to the 12-bottle to get the cuvee.

It was a good move by CCB.

If anyone is looking for a festival only ticket w/ no bottles, send me a message. I have 4 bottle ticket that is unregistered but I need to register it in a name before grabbing the bottles (I want the bottles). I’m able to attend the festival on another ticket so I’m looking for a reasonable offer for the wristband to Huna day. I would register the band in this persons name.

Got the location, got the instructions, got all that.

But do I bring one suitcase or two?

I have the four-pack, but I want to hit some other breweries so I can bring back even more goodies. I'm planning on hitting Angry Chair, Coppertail, Cycle, Rapp, and Colusa on Friday. Trying to not get stuck in any lines, but I'm not even sure of what's going to be available. Hopefully, the market gets saturated and there'll be a few special things left, but that's the risk I'm taking.

So am I going to find enough worthy* stuff and bring two bags?

    * - I'm at the point where I have to be picky. There's only so much space and time.

There is plenty to take home even if you miss the big releases. As long as you like big barrel aged beers, bring 2
