Maybe they will change the limit if abunch of people show up, they said these are pretty limited

Anyone know what’s the story with BA Cuvée bottles? I’ve seen a couple of IG posts showing them and no CCBC announcement or info.

You get 1 in the 12 bottle allotment, as has been discussed in this very thread.

Ok... Serious question. What are the chances of the BA Maple Huna selling out in the first two hours? Basically is it going to be possible to start at AC, then head to CCB. The no limit makes me think getting both are not possible.

From what I was told the whole no limit is still up for debate, there is a good chance limits may be set depending on turn out at opening for certain days. Especially with Thursday as people have already alluded to taking advantage of the limits that day in particular.

I think if it’s no limit it sells out fairly quickly. No idea how many bottles they have but given the price point and people in town I think it goes pretty quick, maybe longer than 2 hours, unless they have a ton. I wonder if the best chance is to do Ccb then AC. So my question is will there really be 800 people in line at AC.

As for limits, if Ccb decides to change their policy they better do it beforehand. People will be pissed if they show up there instead of another place only to be able to get a couple bottles. I guess if the line is overwhelming, making sure people get some would make sense. But I they limit it to a case or less beforehand it would make it last longer and lower the initial line I’d think.

I would say that this probably isn’t a line you need to get in, more than 30 min before open, unless you have other places to be.

But we will get a sneak peek at the Ccb interest and bottle count in tomorrow’s release.

I wasn't thinking CCB first would be an option but that would be awesome if that was the case. To me I would be more upset at missing multiple bottles of BA Huna than missing one bottle of BAIGCCS. So maybe I will start there and hope for the best at AC.

*** Edit *** The issue may not be 800 people in line, it would be a few hundred in line that jump back in for a second bottle.

Agree, but if the line at AC doesn’t start until 12pm(this is not a guarantee, ideally if you can get out of Ccb by 11:30. The ride to AC isn’t bad. But certainly a big risk.

You're probably fucked if you try CCB first if you're going to AC. If you're out by 11:30 you'll make it over to AC 20 minutes or so later but finding parking is going to be ridiculous at that point.

It could have just been a bad bottle, or maybe they just don't like it. Sounds like they plan to open another later today from someone else's allotment.

Maybe not just a bad bottle.....

Looks like we have a disaster brewing in the Monday bottles. Anybody who purchased one (or several) please return them for a refund at your convenience. Anybody with extenuating circumstances or who opened theirs already send a message and we will take care of you.
We will be halting all bottle release plans for the rest of the week, NO MORE RELEASES THIS WEEK.
The tasting room will resume normal hours with our normal beers on tap.
Barrel Aged Day - This event will still happen as planned, obviously minus Monday, but we should still have a lot of other beers to put on tap.
If/When we decide to release any of the remaining bottles, we will make that announcement but until then, it is business as usual, not beer week usual, non-release week usual.

We are besides ourselves over this, we have a lot of safeguards to prevent this from happening but it wasn't enough. Our apologies to the folks who already experienced the issues, and for folks who made the trip to get bottles only to be hugely disappointed.

    FAQ's
No, we don't know what happened, it honestly doesn't matter, anytime you age beer in oak barrels and add adjuncts and package it in bottles, the variables and possibilities are nearly endless and the result is the same, refunds all around.

Yes, we might still release the other beers in the future but considering everything was packaged with the same equipment and handled with the same care (which is extensive, but not enough obviously) we simply can't risk a release at this point.

Sunday bottles seem fine, if anybody is concerned and is in town from elsewhere and doesn't want to take a chance on it, you can also return those bottles to the tasting room.

Oh wow, that's rough. It's also going to make the CCB/AC lines on Thursday even more insane.

So what exactly could have happened for them to cancel the entire week of releases? Edit *** Sounds like pulling the other releases is just precaution.

Monday is definitely infected. They bottled all the other days of the week on the same line so they're likely assuming they're infected as well so pulling them until they test more.
