Cycle is a great example of upped production and cutting down of mules.

Never did I say it's easy. Obviously it isn't.

I can’t think of anything I would wait in line that long to get. These people have completely lost touch with life outside of beer.

As much as I like AC, they’ve lost my support. Enabling people to encroach on a neighborhood right next to an elementary school is simply not cool nor safe. Way to care by moving the release time to right around the time parents and school buses will be dropping kids off. This shit is so wrong on so many levels.

If you aren't in line don't bother coming, already more people in line than there are bottles (per Vic) the streets and yards are overcrowded with drunk idiots. Complete shitshow.

About two years ago, I stood in line there for a beer called Popinski. It was kind of long, but not stressful. I got my 2 bottles, and made it across Florida Ave to the ice machine where I parked. They really are nice folks at the brewery. I sort of feel sorry for AC because of the monster at hand. Sort of. Cha-ching.

thank goodness this is the last day of releases for them, they're running out of ways to say "we suck, we knew this was going to happen but it still happened anyway"

Agree. Their random non TBBW releases have huge lines. It was quite obvious this was going to happen and it's disingenuous to say they did not expect it. What really happened is the neighborhood has finally had enough.

If they are truly so concerned with the well being of their neighbors, I don’t understand why they wouldn’t cancel the bottle release and just open and serve beer during their regular business hours. They could then sell the bottles in the coming weeks with less of a crowd and issue. They’d still end up selling all of the bottles.

they're trying to balance being a part of TBBW with being good neighbors.

a lot of customers made plans to attend these releases based on the information AC gave them. it would be fucked up to change those plans entirely at this point.

i doubt they'll be doing it like this again, ever. they learned the hard way, and hopefully they will maybe find a way to make it up to their neighbors as well (free neighborhood party?)

Why would they cancel stuff lined up for Tampa biggest week in beer?
