I'll be arriving later than usual this year...but will also get to stay later than usual. Damn step-daughter had to go ahead and graduate that day. I'll be hunting for the later group tickets for once.

 

Jak’s Tap closed.

 

I keep feeling like we're gonna miss it. They'll open ticket sales at 2AM on a random Tuesday and a bunch of Europeans will snag all the tickets cuz they a) are awake and b) fell in love with the beer from trying the aquavit variant at Warpigs. Then the Dark Lord will appear and make us all literally eat our words for making statements like "this will be my first DLD" and "I'll be hunting for the later group tickets for once"

 

That sucks. I didn't use their shuttle last year but did the year before, and found it to be the best option from the city. Hopefully some other option pops up for people, although Uber/Lyft seems to work for many (that's why I used for the ride out there last year).

 

If only you had used the shuttle, maybe we could still go to Jaks....

 

I was thinking that as I typed it...then also realized I'd never gone to Jak's except to use the shuttle, so that also could have had something to do with it.

And I'm sure the rest of you were all keeping Jak's in business while I slowly tore them down.

 

Pretty sure Reggie's still does a DLD bus too, but not 100%.

 

Exactly what most of us were thinking.

 

Well last year it seems they announced things on the 10th, so in two days we can all start freaking out.

 

It may be delayed because doesn't Three Floyds usually burn down around this time every year?

 

bbbbbbuuuuuuutttttt.... the festival is one day earlier this year....... so maybe only one day!!!!

 

Please correct me if I’m wrong or if I’m missing some stupid joke that I’m not picking up on, but DLD is a week LATER this year than last year...

 

yeah it's 6 days later this year. So don't freak out until March 16th.

 

I think we should always freak out about Dark Lord Day.

Haven’t tickets always gone on sale the weekend around March 15th, even when they used to have the fest earlier, and then again when they moved it last year? So, if that is next Saturday, we’d be hearing something soon. And if not, we all freak out.

 

Thought they always went on sale on St. Patty's Saturday at noon....

 

Don’t tell me when I can and cannot freakout. This is America! I have 1st amendment rights to freak out WHENEVER I WANT!

 

yea I thought it was always st patties day as well... so should get some info this weekend?
