Beer Study in Durham just got some of the Fonta Flora 16oz cans. Which works for me I don't want to stop in just for cans tomorrow as I assume it's going to be nuts at the brewery.

Nice! The batch they have up there now is really good I thought.

About time. If LBC had done this 2 or 3 years ago & prior to the brewing/recipe change they would have made a fortune on them. So many very good to great IPAs/DIPAs out there now it will be a ho hum event.

They really missed an opportunity with Hubris - left a lot of cash on the table.....SMH

With how much they charged for those bombers, think they got plenty of cash! Will be interesting to see how much the cans are.

Agree. Missed opp. Never understood the bomber route considering they were canning their other beers, but to each his own.

Just got into the visions of a Valkyrie by burial from yesterday. Very impressed, top notch quality! Great to try some hops I’m almost certain I’ve never had.

Oof, my wife and I didn't care for Visions of a valkyrie at all... looked and smelled ok, but had an awful burn on the way down. What is that?

It's a super 'green' beer, like they must of canned it less than a week ago. Let it sit in your fridge for 1-2 weeks and I bet it will taste amazing.

It was a little green, but I didn’t think it had a noticeable burn. Certainly nothing like what you find in a lot of the Veil beers for instance.

Just had some on tap on Saturday, stuff is delicious. Stopped by Resident Culture and grabbed some cans of Whatever You Feel, Just Dance It; and damn that's some good NEIPA as well. Really enjoying how so many new breweries in NC are stepping up to the IPA brewing plate.

We didn’t taste that burn either. I feel like I taste that burn with several ponysaurus beers. Good to know if they sit in the fridge a bit that it could help though, hope that works and improves them for you!

I didn't get any "green" either, but will try another one in a week. I thought it was damn delicious.

I wish I had the self control to let these sit in my fridge for a week before drinking them all ha, no chance.

While technically not an IPA/DIPA, Rusty Cage (DDH NE style Pale Ale) is bangin.

How is King of The Mountain from Boojum? I'm looking at Asheville Beverage website trying to sort out what we should pick for our wedding. I was thinking one IPA and one Pilsner. They said they might be able to get some Burial but since they're not contracted with them it might be more difficult.
