Very disappointing. I hope that the employee, co founder, whatever is dealt with properly.

 

It is very disappointing. I buy at least a twelve pack a week if not a case and now I don’t think I’ll be buying their beer anymore.

On a less serious note why was a co-founder sneaking beers into someone else’s pub, is he that poor? Do they only pay their employees in cans?

 

Slide a new one in riipa line up called .. Beat it like it owes u money ! I Will continue to support Melvin

 

People do shitty things all the time. I am more focused on socioeconomics when I decide to be all "holier than thou", as long as Melvin isn't outsourcing to mexico I'm good.

 

All the Melvin in Cali is from October. Help!

 

Care to address this situation on these here boards @flyone @MelvinBrewing_2x4 ? Very curious as to why this is still an issue and just now coming into the limelight nearly 4 months after the incident (maybe this is my fault. I try to keep up with current events in the craft beer industry but I never heard about this before this article came out a couple of days ago)? Also, curious as to why this employee/co-founder/whatever title this particular person holds, is still employed with Melvin Brewing. Would really love to hear your side of the story and address some of the questions that are being asked not only by me but others as well.

 

Brewery addressed it and hopefully all parties can get along .. an apology and some free Melvin can go a long way and it’s pribably happened

We're probably past that point. Time heals, but, right now, this is all very fresh in the collective mind of my town. Hopefully, Melvin management can make the changes, and we can all learn and move on. That time is likely months away yet though.

It's easy for some people to not care when it doesn't impact them. This isn't a valid defense, but that's their reality.

 

Though I don't reckon an apology and free beer is a sufficient remedy to the situation, releasing the offending party would be mine, no one needs to be told to leave for stating their opinion.

 

Drinking my last Melvin right meow... Citradamous. Its delightful, doubt its really my last ever, but damn if I’ll be putting my money towards a company that rolls this way... the specifying of it being a ‘Wyoming’ person is offensive on several levels.

Did you not see the part where they brought cans of their own beer into another brewery, and just opened them. Clear violation of several Washington LCB laws, and if the cops would have been notified, it could have put their license at risk. And, yes, she did get violated. Maybe the news hasn't reached your corner of the world yet, but we no longer live in the wild, wild west. How you feel someone walks into your wife/GF's work and grabs her ass? How you respond? You'd be A-OK with it, right? A butt got grabbed, that's all.

 

Couldn't put it better myself. If we're here to advocate for beer, we should want all folks to be able to enjoy good beer. Hard to do that when you're being groped.

 

I have an idea, shut the fuck up and be patient. Why not wait and see how Melvin handles the situation? I am not defending the actions of one individual here, but rather making a suggestion that maybe wait to judge an entire company by how they handle this.
