I really thought we’d hear something about tickets now. I don’t know what the stages are of freaking out about DLD, but I don’t like the stage I’m in now.

 

They quietly sold all of the group A tickets, in person at their booth at Hunahpu’s Day. All Marshmallow Handjee was allocated to those tickets. I know a guy that was there.

 

And even worse that guy told me they are holding it at WarPigs this year due to the brewery expansion construction in Munster...

 

The shitty thing is that the Hampton Inn and the Super 8 in Copenhagen are both sold out. Good luck finding a place to stay. Also, aquavit is the only variant.

 

I hope people understand that everyone at Huna Day is shit faced. Good rumor though.

Given JWB's VIP Wakefest allotment was 10 BA bottles with charity raffles for the other limited stuff and Cigar City has different levels/allotments for Huna Day, I feel like Three Floyd's needs to step their festival game up a bit with DLD... Discuss.

Not disagreeing, but 3-4k attend Huna while DLD sees 10+k...and Wakefest is pretty tiny.

Huna taplist vs. DLD bottle share is a hard choice, one I've refused to make for the past 3 years, going to both instead lol

 

This is true. I hadn't considered attendance. When you put it that way I guess having a variant for every person is quite the accomplishment....... I'd still like to see charity raffles for vintage variants or just any variants really, plus it's a good look for the brewery.

 

We should just stop the charade and call this thread "Complete Nonsense" next year. Maybe with a "Sponsored by Dark Lord Day" tagline.

 

They tend to do those outside of DLD to help out specific causes.
