I know you're joking, but this is demonstrably false.

    Two words: laugh tracks.

I'm not going to be linking the article because I know it's just going to be eliminated by BA.

My friend just shared a recent article from the blog of one of the macro beer companies calling for the death of the Shaker pint.

They laid out the arguments about how it doesn't do anything positive for aroma, taste, or appearance, and wasn't designed for drinking from.

Link not needed for this set of points. Some on here have been pointing out these problems with Shaker Pints for years, but there are still folks who love them or who think someone is being pretentious for not wanting to use the Shaker Pint glass.

A shaker is sturdy, easy to wash and holds beer. What's not to like.

If you're a bar owner, not much.

It's difficult not to be. Whether you are the first in your group or the last. And then when you start drinking macro styles again...lol

I can't think of any but that's a little bit like asking to find a plumber who won't work on showers, faucets, water heaters, or toilets.

I always say that if I want a taste of grapefruit or someting else these IPAs taste like,I go to a supermarket and buy fruit juice.
I like hops to taste of hops and not something else.

Good news, hops taste like nothing more than hops.

Some are very unhoplike if you see what I mean. Citra hopped beers are like grapefruit juice.

They may have a taste which is reminiscent of grapefruit or, more accurately, a sort of undifferentiated bitter, musky, citrus-like character. Also melon and berries.

All hallertau hopped beers are reminiscent of old socks stuffed with stale dry thyme flowers.

There aren't enough NEIPA's being brewed. Too many brewers are obsessed with obscure European styles that people only pretend to like.

This thread is too good to be allowed to die.

    Dance, puppets, dance!
