Spots to hit between TH and Boston?

Actually, before you get to Tree House - assuming you're coming out on the Pike. Get off at the Ludlow exit to go to Vanished Valley. It's a little less than half an hour to Tree House from there.

Also, Exhibit A is in Jack's Abby's old space on Morton Street which is just a few minutes away from the new place.

 

You could also stop at Armsby Abbey in Worcester for lunch after TH. They usually have 4+ HF taps going plus their food is great.

Honestly, the food is so good here that it actually competes with the beer to see which is finer. You can not go wrong ordering anything from the menu. (Mixed nuts app, hummus, crispy Brussels Sprouts, etc...)

 

I'll second the recommendation for Vanished Valley!! It's very close to the Pike and you can swing into Randall's if you need some farm fresh baked goods or other snacks.

Third the recommendation for vanished valley. Also Randall’s farm is a western mass staple. When I visit home I go to both!

 

Once you get to the intersection of I-90/I-95, you could take a detour down I-95S to Canton/Norwood and hit up Trillium/Castle Island/Percival.

 

I would head south a little bit on 395. You can hit up both Kretschmann in Webster, and Black Pond in Danielson. Black Pond's Grodziskie is seriously great.
