Got there at 11am with no line. Left at around noon-ish, and the corner of center/smith had two guys solidly passed out against the wall with their beer out in front of them. People were stopping to take photos with them -- they were out cold. Surprised nobody was taking their cans/bottles.

Think it's safe to say that OH upped their capacity -- and just installed more this week too it looked like according to social media. But, when you still sell out of ALL year beer in a weekend, that is still crazy and your business is still booming.

Apparently the “stay tuned” was that jwake had sent up some bottles from dfpf day (i’m assuming for tap room consumption only) but something happened, they never made it and ended up back in florida.

Florida plates 2 is just not my thing I guess. Reminds me of Founders mango magnifico from like 3 years ago where the smell had a striking resemblence to my wife’s conditioner. Just a whole bunch of artificial fruit. The other 2 cans are great though.

universal on all planes has developed nicely. the answer collab is real nice too.

still think their own recipes are better than 90% of the collabs. But I like the fact that they partner with so many breweries.

Yeah, it's not an easy beer to drink. I like the taste of it, but 8 oz would have been perfect. I pity anybody working through that case.

Agreed. IMO FP2 is almost undrinkable. Glad I only got a 4 pack. Really enjoyed FP1. Wondering if the increased capacity has effected the quality of the beer? Time will tell

No, they just made a beer with peach and passion fruit that tastes like peach and passion fruit. I'm not saying it's a beer I want to drink a lot of, but it tastes exactly as advertised. This is the same thing that happened two summers ago with Topical Depression. I think a lot of people are unaware of the fact that they dislike the taste of passion fruit.

I just think Collabs are a hit or miss. Lots of fruit only increases the variability as well. And this is across the industry, not just at OH. Collabs are just getting together with friends, probably getting a little tipsy, throwing in a bunch of random stuff in a batch without much of a plan. It's like an improv jam session. Then you usually get somewhat decent beer and a lot of hype. I would say almost every brewery is much more focused/dialed in on their own releases and collabs are a fun thing.

I don’t know if I would call it undrinkable. I got through the can but certainly was not clamoring for another. Funny enough my wife, who I likened the beer to her conditioner, loves it. So at least the rest of the 4 pack is going to good use.

Any idea if all that will still happen sometime soon? And if they were oh/jwake bottles or just regular jwake bottles?

    I liked FP1. I like FP2. I also like OH’s regular beers.

    Come at me.

Also, for those fans of OH “regular” beers, it seems as though DDH ACE is back on tap and up for fills. Locals! Assemble!

Sam already said why... "It's none of your business." And that's the reason why I drove up to Hudson Valley and Equilibrium yesterday instead of going to Other Half.

Florida Plates 3. It's a vodka cranberry in a can.

Not enjoying my FL 2 in cans as much as I did on tap...maybe the cans need to mellow more.
