How much beer do you really need to bring to dld? Just saying, but maybe this is fff attempt to limit the people that get shitfaced, puke, and sleep in the grass. Of course, it is not dld without those people.

I'll be curious to see how strictly they enforce this 72oz limit. My guess is as long as you're not carrying in 50 beers, or falling down drunk you'll be fine.

For me 72oz is fine. I do most of my sharing before entering the fest anyway. Once I enter, that would leave me approximately 3 bombers or 5X 16oz cans to share. Plenty, especially since I make it a point to hit up the taps throughout the day.

Has no growlers always been a thing? Could have sworn I had seen some in 2016...

Outside the gates before you enter the fest was somewhat common. But inside there shouldn't have been any, although I'm sure some were sneaked in anyway.

Exactly. I don't want to lug a heavy backpack around all damn day.

My brother and I always give out way more than we drink. We like sharing what we bring, and this rule just limits that. We typically would go through about 5 bombers apiece and neither of us have ever blacked out or puked.

I'm more bummed about the food and no beer upon reentry though.

It's been a thing for a couple years now, but not sure how strongly it is enforced. Technically no resealable vessels of beer allowed.

I can see why you might be bummed. I think its the less responsible people the rule targets.

Damn. Found out the bottle a friend planned on bringing was a 3L, not a magnum; which would be 101oz and over the limit. Looks like plan b is to share it before the gates open. What the Dark Lord don’t know won’t hurt em

Excited about cashless, with no voucher system. Not sure I can have a separate credit/debit card on 2nd wristband (for guest) if I buy both of them. Not sure if that'll work, might be the case where non-wristband, non-cash purchases involved?

    No pretzel necklaces?

Now to wait for the bands, hoping for a good lineup to rival last years. Be hard to top Amon Amarth.

No mention of ticket price, interesting.

Me thinks we're gonna be bankrolling this expansion.
