Has it been the Harpoon influence that's allowed y'all to start canning a wider variety of beers?

I was saying last night that it would be great if Clown Shoes would start showing up where Harpoon has an account. Such as 99. Or the Harpoon stand at Boston Garden. Let's get that done for some Galactic at the Celts!

The first run of Spacecake cans was 12/18/17 so maybe thats the one you're referencing? More likely we sent up cans from the 1/5/18 run. Those all sold out at the distributer so we'll be sending up cans from the late January run next week. The cans have been holding up great btw now that they're run on Harpoon's excellent canning line.
    Cheers!

Thanks I must have misread the dates thinking 11(nov) instead of 1(Jan) I always enjoyed space cake when I could find a fresh bomber in while visiting the parents in MA. Any plans for stouts heading to vt?

New BA beer from Clown Shoes is popping up. The Ballad of Minnie Quay. Old ale aged in brandy barrels.

Finally got around to drinking my bottle of this. This was incredible. Might be the best Clown Shoes beer I've ever had. Sticky, sweet, madeira-like, booze was hidden almost to the point of non-existence.

Agreed, the new batch of Minnie Quay is fantastic. Probably my favorite old ale.

The new Ballad of Minnie Quay was the first barrel project to come out of the Windsor facility. I hope you get a chance to try some of the others!

I haven’t seen them on the shelves yet, but Clowns Shoes has a few releases coming up this/next month. Very Angry Beast, Exorcism of Rich Ackerman, BBA Pecan Pie Porter.

Anyone see Very Angry Beast or 2018 Pecan Pie Porter anywhere in the greater Boston area, preferably at the same store? I haven't seen either anywhere.

did they stop distribution because your boy bernie wanted everyone to be able to get any beer they wanted for free?

Not in the GBA but saw that Lazy Dog Beer Shoppe in Londonderry NH got the 2018 BBA pecan pie Porter in yesterday so looks like it is getting out there slowly but surely.

CBC Newton just got Pecan Pie 2018 in. I haven’t seen Very Angry Beast on any of my usual stores Instagram pages.

I was introduced to Clown Shoes via there Imperial Stouts. Loved them all, and then I tried space Cake. Still plenty of love.

But recently I tried Yee Haw, and Galactica, I must must admit that I was underwhelmed. I really had high hopes for CS, especially when they were acquired by Harpoon.

Unfortunately, it seems that they are one trick ponies with their Imperial Stouts.
