2009 Jenlain Ambree. Still good?

    Hello. New here, so thanks in advance for the advice...
    I'm a wine collector. Years ago a friend stashed a 750ml, caged cork, Jenlain Ambree in my cellar.
    It's been kept in good condition, on its side, at roughly 55 degrees for about 9 years.
    I know the best way to see if it's any good is to open it, but I wondered...
    Is this Bier d Garde style something that takes ageing well.

    Probably not the optimal style for aging (at least aging this long) but you never know... If you do open it and enjoy it, considering adding you review in the "MM YYYY Cellar Reviews" (where MM=month and YYYY=year) as I'm sure people would be interested to hear how it turned out.

    Thanks for the reply. I've a good friend who is more of a beer expert than I. He's coming to taste it with me this evening. I'll have him write the notes...
