I’m no Bobby 3 Sticks, but I’ve gone over this timeline a few times, and my investigations indicate that you did not post on this forum your valuable information.

I thought that we were blood-bound to sow chaos together, in harmony, as brothers and sisters of the BA DLD thread. I guess I was wrong. We’re just strangers, hoarding intel and spreading disinformation in an attempt to maximize our own personal outcomes.

I thought America was stronger than this.

Wait, still...people basically hacked their way to early access tickets, got refunded, and can still use those tickets? So now we're encouraging this behavior?

I'm not sure they will actually get to go. It only seems that DDB is suggesting that. Perhaps based on the "hope to see you in May" line in the email.

 

Supposedly the refunded tickets aren't valid, but not all the illegitimate tickets were refunded, and are therefore good. Or so I read...

What a fucking joke this early ticket situation is. I don’t think it has a big impact overall, but it’s laughable. Anyone else having Spaceballs flashbacks with that password? Ludicrous Dark Lord Day!!!

Where was this password entered? The e-tix site gives nowhere to enter a password or to purchase tix. Lies I tell you! LIES!!!

 

When the link first went up it had a password instead of a countdown I think.

 

FFF should ban all the people who "guessed" the password from going to DLD. Hell, I'd prosecute them. If you weren't provided that info I would consider that a "breach" or hacking. How is guessing passwords any different than someone using a computer to crack password by using computer's programmed to try every possibility? Finding someone's keys doesn't give you permission to access their house....

 

I got tickets. Someone said “hey, presale password is DLD2018”. I didn’t ask questions. I put that password in, selected my tickets, and bought them. No refund. No other email received other than my tickets confirmation email from eTix. This will be my 7th straight year at DLD.

 

LOL! Really? Simmer down man, it’s a multimillion dollar beer event. No one lost money buying tickets early. Literally no harm was done. Suing? LOL! God that is the dumbest thing I’ve read all day. Screenshotting your dumb comment so I can show people how dumb you are

I'm not mad. nothing to simmer down about. How is this different from someone accessing Equifax and pulling data from them? You purposefully tweaked the system and it would be hilarious if they punished people for it.
