Forbidden Root Snoochie Boochies DIPA. I was not a huge fan of the first two cans, but this one is much more in line with what I expected. Not as muddled and brighter hop character. Great stuff.

Meh. A decent NEIPA. Not amazing, but not bad, either.

Delicious stuff. Aromas and flavors of light tart lemon, lime, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, green apple, and citrus peel/zest hops; with moderate wheat, white bready malts; light lacto funk, floral/grassy hop, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness and mild floral/grassy hop bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; balanced bready/grainy malt and lactic acid in the mouthfeel. Slight sticky hops. Light-moderate increasing acidic dryness, no pucker. Very flavorful/refreshing, 5%. Pretty tame for a kettle sour, but I am definitely a fan; adequately tart. Very approachable with nice citrus/tropical hop complexity, balanced Lacto and pale/wheat malts. Very well made. Will grab again while it's around.

Outstanding IPA. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, citrus zest, and light pepper/pine hops; with moderate honey, biscuit, light caramel malt balance; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; nice creamy/bready/grainy malt mouthfeel with some hop stickiness. Lightly increasing lingering bitter dryness. Refreshingly drinkable from the mild bitter finish. 7.3%. This drinks exactly like an NEIPA, did not expect that initially. Super juicy Citra hop complexity with a nice bready malt backbone. Glad these are year round available, fan of all of their beers so far.

Fantastic Belgian pale ale. Flavors of peach, mango, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pear, apple, pepper, clove, and light banana/bubblegum/pine; with balanced honey, biscuity malts; herbal, floral, grassy hops; and yeasty earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness; light pine/grassy bitterness, and yeast tang/tartness on the finish. Medium-plus carbonation, medium body, and moderately crisp finishing. Bready/grainy malts and some sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Light-moderate increasing spicy/carbonated dryness. Refreshingly drinkable, 6.8%. Wow, I will definitely be picking this up again. Awesome balance of juicy hop/yeast flavors; with a nice bready malt backbone. Spot on for the style, aside from the use of American hops. I am a huge fan of pretty much all of Revolution's beers, regardless of style.

Last year's batch is tasting fantastic. Flavors of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, molasses, smoke, charcoal, toasted biscuit, and nutty malts; with some herbal, woody, piney hops. Light-moderate roast/char and woody/spicy/piney hop bitterness on the finish. Creamy/silky medium-full body; with lighter chalky char/roast and sticky hop balance. Lightly increasing hop/roast/char bitter dryness, never acrid/astringent. Super smooth, minimal warming 8.2%. On the roasty side for a Porter, but nails all of the biscuity/nutty/sweet dark malt complexity I expected. Well hopped, but not overdone. Fits more of an American porter profile, with English influence. Been finding some random lingering singles around. Over 13 months old now, but still spot on. Hope this lands on the calendar later this year.

Not the same Michigan team as Thursday. Hoping they can pull it out. That's a nice little run to get things moving.

I'll regret this tomorrow at work, but for now enjoying Founders Backwoods Bastard. Found this hiding in the back of my fridge...all the way from 2015. It's moved with me, yet I still forgot about it.

Watching some Ufommamut live youtube clips. Finally seeing these guys for my first time in a couple months. Stoked for this. Been a fan of these guys for maybe 12-13 years now, they kind of lost their luster a bit with me over their past few releases but I can tell already that live.....they are going to blow me away.

Did a road bike race this morning and managed to finish despite cramping up pretty bad the last 5 miles or so. The wind was also 20-30 with huge gusts so it was a battle of attrition out there. Enjoy By 4.20.18, and I think it’s drinking a little smoother this weekend than last, cheers!

Is that a @LeperJim original? Based on the teeth, it must be. No one does skull teeth like a leper.

Oh yeah, nice bulbous pint glass.
