Vendome Beverly Hills has a lot of their stuff on the shelf as well. But yeah, shoot them a message and they'll gladly take care of you.

So I did end up emailing them and apparently they ended up doing a drop-off at a couple SF places like Toronado and City Beer. I just got back from City Beer and picked up bottles of

    • Akimbo
    • Berlinerish
    • Restik
    • Ms Split Pea
I know what I'm doing for the super bowl

Hopped on at around 10 to buy a bottle of the new saison, but it looks like it sold out quickly. Bummer.

Pretty stoked that a Mellona variant is one of our upcoming member bottles. I had a bottle around five days ago and it's probably my favorite Cellador beer along with the whole SdS series. I know it won't ever happen but I wouldn't mind if they only made unfruited saisons.

i like their unfruited saisons too but what do you have against fruit? how is making both not the best option hahahah

I didn't mean making only unfruited saisons is the best option. Just that Cellador's unfruited lineup is good enough for me to not miss their fruited stuff too much. I mean, I'd miss it, but I already have a ton of fruited saisons and not nearly so many unfruited saisons.

I really wanted to try Mas Mas or Menos Mas (I think I'm a peachophile) but not surprisingly, they didn't last for the public sale.

@Blackmill i've got two bottles of Mellona and Toronado SF still has them in stock for $10 apiece. I've been a bit sick, so I'll probably share a bottle with the wife in a couple weeks.

I know the post I am quoting was from January but when I called today, Vendome did not have any Cellador on shelves and indicated they have been getting a lot less lately, suggesting I buy from the brewery directly. So at minimum I suggest calling Vendome before stopping by expecting to find some Cellador on shelves. The beer guy was very helpful though.

I think a lot more is being bought by members causing less to go into distribution. They seem to be increasing production, but I don’t think it is keeping up with demand. I would expect cellador to be less of a Shelfie, than it has been. And when the taproom opens I would expect even less.

It's moreof production takes months to catch up due to the nature of the beer they're selling. Member beers didn't start selling really quick until end of last year anyway.

Saw someone on an untappd checkin say they picked up a Cellador Murex via Tavour? That's pretty cool if so! Good exposure for them hopefully.

Also I was over there on Saturday for a pickup and asked what the timeline's looking like for taproom opening. Sara just kind of smiled and rolled her eyes and said, "Maybe late summer?" Y'all know how these things go.
