This is actually only my 2nd beer from them so I can’t speak on the others in the series but it seems like they’re trending in the right direction. Pretty typical for the style but definitely tasty

GoneAway is great. I’ve been lucky enough to try a few of their beers over the past 2 years or so that they’ve been in NYC. Vallejo and Galactic Double Daisy Cutter are both awesome...can’t wait til they hit NJ

You're off by 5 years, but thanks.
And it was the wife's 45th as well today, but she probably thanks you too.

My first of this year's Sunday Morning Stout. So good! One of my favorite BBA stouts.

I wanted a Bretta Rose, then the bartender told me it was only a 6 ounce pour... yeah right. Another Pliny, please:

I've had GoneAway and Vallejo. both are great. Glad I won't have to pay for shipping to get it now.

Each time I like this beer less. By far the best iteration was the VA prototype IMO

I think it's really a question of how in the mood for it you are. During the times I got burned out on D/TIPAs, it came across as a cloying boozy malt bomb. When I'm really in the mood for a dank West Coast DIPA, it tastes like pungent juicy grapefruit, peach, pineapple, weed, and onion goodness.

You're probably right. I have 5 left and I'm sure there's gonna be one that's gonna be just perfect. Also weirdly enough I've found that I really like the ones that I drink approaching the Enjoy By date (or sometimes past it).

Had another great day on my So Cal beer trip meeting up with @TheBrewsky . Ended up going to the Week or Logic at Bottle Logic Brewing, then going to Green Cheek and Noble. Cheers late night advocates
