If it is at all similar to Andechs Vollbier, I can guarantee it a constant shelf space at the store this whole spring and summer. That beer is the nectar and the 12pack format+Sixpoint consistency= :weary:

It should be there already. If you have further difficulty finding it, send us a PM and we'll track it down for you right away.

Its not loaded into the BeerFinder yet, but I just sent a message to our tech team to get it uploaded ASAP. I can confirm that WI has received the product as have all states in our distribution network. Please let me know via PM if you have any further issues locating the beer.

Please let us know if you'd like us to send in our sales representative and/or schedule a tasting.

    thank you

You were at that Toronado event? That was soooooooo much fun. Anyways, Northern CA has it now. If you need help tracking it down, please PM us.

Another quick update - the tech team works extremely fast! Less than 10 minutes after contacting them, they said they started to load Alpenflo into the BeerFinder. It will take a while for the info to populate, but if you close the app and reopen it you should see it on the BeerFinder section.

    cheers

Ok, thanks. I've checked at a few of my usual places and came up empty. I'll check a few others and let you know if I still can't find any.

    Belmont Party Supply - Dayton
    Beer Barn - Dayton
Liquor and Wine Warehouse - Dayton

    Cappys - Loveland
    Hidden Carry-Out - Wilmington
    Halls Corner Carryout - Beavercreek

According to beermenus there's like 7 places in NYC that may or may not have Alpenflo and that's draft only. I thought the beer was made in Brooklyn! What about the hometown?

New York is very competive with beer space.. I would sell it but I already have the higher volume pack and it does great for us

I always wondered how Dogfish Head felt about the similarity of the boom box 12 pack concept:

Hope to see some alpenflo this or next week. I placed an order for a case as soon as I heard it hit distribution.

Off topic, but I wonder if @Sixpoint has any problems with the Crossroads Brewing logo or, more specifically, the cans for their Outrage IPA I saw in the new releases section of The New Brewer today. Could just be me, but I initially thought of Sixpoint when I saw them.

I have not used beermenus in a long time, but I'm not sure its 100% accurate in two critical ways, as it counts on individuals (not always the business owners) to manually update their beer lists:

    1) not all places that carry the beer will be listed, as some of them are never reported

    2) some of the places that are listed as carrying the beer actually do not have the beer anymore, for they might not have reordered.

For these reasons, I would not rely on beermenus for a full and accurate listing of beer availability.

Oh and there's one more important and critical thing - beermenus was almost 100% focused on "on-premise" beer locations such as beer bars, restaurants, taverns, etc. But as you know the majority of beer sales are off-premise (grocery stores, delis, supermarkets, etc.). Since Alpenflo is our first 12-pack of a single beer, it further drives home the point that you will see a propensity of draft-only places and not the off-premise locations.

    cheers and happy hunting

That's great to hear. Would you consider placing the Alpenflo next to the Higher Volume to see how it performs?

The other thing we are considering is actually adding the Alpenflo to the Higher Volume, and perhaps removing one of the other items. That way folks could still sample the beer by purchasing it at your store.

    cheers

hmmmm.... with that tape deck feature, you should probably mention Brooklyn Brewery as well, who came out with theirs after ours ;-)

is the case set to arrive this week? if you have any difficulty procuring it, please let us know so we can help to track it down in your area

    cheers

I doubt there would be any issue, unless it was really egregious. Do you happen to have a sample image/example of what you are talking about?

    thank you

I see it in the finder, but there's no Alpenflo within 50 miles of my location.

Guess I'll stick with Lager of the Lakes for now.
