They still have not announced whether it will be an either-or of variant or vintage. That was only a 2017 thing so far.

As far as the site goes, it seems to indicate variant availability pretty strongly.

 

Even if they did say variant one way or another, that could still change anyway anywhere all the way up to DLD itself.

 

I'm really not. These are basically the same as the line cutters who show up 5 minutes before the gates open- no doubt an annoying nuisance, but it happens and the best thing to do is just make light of it and not get mad....

They won't. The guys working the taps get pissed enough by the people camping them without encouraging it by posting them....

 

Or they could tap the same DL variant at every tap station at the same time all around the fest--that would certainly put a huge dent in the bottle share clusters and make for an interesting array of lines.

 

Prairie Dawgz were specifically special ordered and 100% sold to individuals, there is zero chance of an extra keg. The rest of the offerings you're hoping for from them are wildly unlikely given the quantities produced. Maybe the DB Noir if you're really lucky.

They're line will be so packed. I'm getting in it early.

 

I get that the breweries arent just going to bring every whale they have or something like that. But how do you come to something this big and not bring one pretty special beer? Hell, at Southern Grist's anniversary they had regular Paradise. That's better than all these.

 

They brought Pirate Paradise to the Shelton fest in Louisville.

And I never really understand the guest taps at DLD, they're mostly pretty tame, but the primary draw being the share always made up for it. That said, Huna day draft list is still like a whale tour--I thought this year would start the decline of that fest, but it's still got a strong pull of good shit for some reason.

Which leads to the question, does FFF pay for a keg or two like CCB does for the guest taps at their fest?

 

Whats the best place to stay around 3 Floyd's that would be a quick trip to drop off bottles and come back?

 

Not the hospice a block from 3 Floyds...I feel sad for any families and patients that have to listen to metal blaring in their final moments together...
