Love OH beer, but man they always seem to find a way to piss people off with their customer service. It's shitty that they would change their schedule up to release on Good Friday, a holiday for people, and then not properly staff the brewery to handle a normal release day crowd. I get it I could just wait and I'd get the beer, but when you just want a few 4pks, the days of waiting in line for an hour should be over.

 

Just FYI they are selling cans out of the smaller space next to the recycling center on Smith and not the bigger space on Center, which I didn’t realize until just now. Line is still on Garnet though. Doesn’t look like a lot of people are maxing out either. Cans might last into the late afternoon @rozzom

It was hard to tell because I couldn’t see pallets of all the beers, but there was a ton of Citra + Azacca left. Like almost two full pallets. My guess is you can roll up in about an hour and still get everything with little to no wait. Probably 70 or so still in line right now.

 

Line is moving at a medium slow pace. Not terrible.

 

First OH line experience for me. Went down from midtown during lunch. Arrived at 1, left at 145. Not terrible. I avoid lines when possible however sometimes they are inevitable. I will say that the one time I waited in line at EQ it moved much more slowly than what I experienced today. Not a knock on them - just some unsolicited line data for everyone to chew on.

 

just posted about 40 cases of each left.

 

that's not bad, what's that like 1/4 or 1/5th of their normal batch size? May have some last into tomorrow i suppose.

I doubt it lasts long enough for working locals. OH hates working locals.

 

Space is out already, my guess is nothing lasts

 

Line was intense. Surprised how long it was. Happy to have made off with Broccoli and Space Daydream, the latter being a top five OH beer for me, easily.

 

3:10p update. Space is out but no line. Walk up to recycling center side door & grab cans.

 

The tap room is the most crowded I’ve seen in quite some time. Got here at 3 and just missed out on Space but was able to grab a couple of broccoli and citra / azacca

 

Just Double Mosaic remains.

 

DMD is tasting a bit oniony out of the gate

 

Got there just after 3pm. Space was out but the others were avail. Got a dmd and a citra. In and out. Was a good experience except for the 4 young guys making absolutely cringe comments (sorry guys). Thanks for the heads up @rojapa

 

Absolutely mental that they can sell out in a few hours on a Friday afternoon. Do that many people not have work today?

 

I had work but was dead - so was able to bail a little after 1.

Plus I’ve seen packs of teachers day drinking at the moment, since there’s a school break. Maybe they’re factoring into this.
