Seems like they’ve been canning less frequently, I presume due to cans lasting longer

I think initially they started out doing canning every other week

Looks like the Keystoner/Turkey Burglar cans were announced on February 12, which will be three weeks on Monday. Also, maybe they planned to slow down to allow for the PermaSmile bottles, the 3 Intangible bottles, and the Whatever Forever/Gooseberries bottles.

Then again, maybe you’re exactly right. Tough to say.

I believe Intangible Ales is Terry’s “side project”

Wonder if they’re brewed at Pizza Boy or not

As far as I know, they are.

Also, you are correct. Intangible is Terry’s thing. Sounds like it is coming to an end and that makes me sad. Some really tasty beers from that label/brand.

What is coming to an end? Cans?

Intangible, per the Instagram post announcing the last three bottles. No need for panic.

I wonder if the most recent post on social media indicates anything in particular

Regardless, my wife wants a glass

Some minor updates to the tap list last evening, for those who might be interested.

Yeah I heard they went back to the other license. I don't know, I kind of liked that it was PA only. Made them different and they typically had stuff you didn't see anywhere else. Now the non-Pizza Boy stuff is just the same stuff everyone else has. Also noticed Tired Hands is absent (though I'm sure that has more to do with Tired Hands).

That place makes some wickedly awesome beers yet inside what essentially is a crappy old school pizza place (extremely bright lights, cheap tables but for this place it works). Last time I was there I had an Imperial Stout made with Carolina Reapers. That had to be one of the hottest beers I've ever had and I was grateful for the cheese pizza to offset the heat.

I get it from the atmosphere standpoint, but the food (especially the pizza) is very good. I think I find myself going there more for the food than the beer.

Oh I agree - I think that cheap pizzeria look is part of the charm of the place!

My local distributor in PA is selling Sunny Side Up. I was so excited . . . until I saw the price of $26. Looking forward to the prices coming down.

Pretty sure that is a distributor problem. Cases of the base sunny side are $50 at the brewery.

Ya, you do. I've also seen distributors sell PB cans in a 4 pack for the same price or more than what PB sells the 6 pack for.

Anyone know what cans are available?

Going off memory from Monday and without coffee yet this morning, but I want to say Olden Times, Stranger Things, Flying Laserbeams....maybe still Shamrock Shuffle?

All that to say, it's probably worth a call if you're going for something specific.

Not a fan of PB recent offerings. All have been really meh. I wish he provided some sort of description on even what hops were used in each IPA.

Reoccurring Nightmare is really tasty, as was what I had of Fever Dream. Get a Grip, Taste the Struggle.... those were solid, but unspectacular.

Obviously not trying to talk you out of anything, as it is subjective and opinion based...

For the hops, you might want to ask at the counter next time, I've seen them reference some paperwork from time to time about the beers.
