What apps do y'all use to post pictures here?

    Hey all, so I was just wondering what different apps or programs people use to post pictures on things like WBAYDN. I use Imgur atm, but I'm wondering if there are any ways that would be quicker. Also, which forum would this type of discussion really go under? I wasn't sure so I just posted it in Beer Talk.

    One if my closest friends is Southern. So I strted saying y'all to make fun of her, but I did it so much it became normal for me now.

    Language interests me. If you read linguistic books from the pre-90s they usually say something like 'within a couple decades British and American English will be incomprehensible to each other' but then the internet happened.

    Oh wait, this thread is about posting pictures.

    I use Dropbox. I take the picture on my phone, share it to my Dropbox, then by the time I get to my laptop in the next room, the picture is available on the laptop and ready to edit. I edit for rotation, cropping, and resolution using Photoscape. Then from file explorer I capture the Dropbox link, then post it on BA. I do make an easy edit to the URL which enables inline pictures

    Dropbox has a cost but I don't have to deal with advertising or size or longevity restrictions. There's no long term free lunch for image hosting so I don't mind paying for Dropbox which I use it for other pictures and files.

    I use Imgur. It works great for me on my phone and laptop. Free and easy. I used photobucket prior to their policy/pricing bs.

    Imgur for me too. Open tab, always logged in, takes no time to upload, copy direct link, paste it on BA.

    Most of the time I take a picture with the Imgur app on my Iphone and do the posting form the browser on my macbook. Sometimes I use another camera. In that case I do an upload to Imgur from my browser (that's also from my macbook).

    Postings to BA made from my iPhone or iPad somehow never showed pictures.

    The only limit to how quickly I can post a pic from Imgur is how quickly I can push buttons on my phone, especially if I'm on wifi. Imgur is the shiznit, IMHO.
