Right? I mean you said all the fat, ugly, ******ed, drunk neck beards would have a ticket to offer and then you came up with a ticket to offer. Self-deprecating humor is always appreciated.

I don’t think many got shut out last year either. The days in which DLD sells out in 5 minutes are long past (thank God!). I think its the higher allotment of tickets, plus the cost of tickets is prohibitive to some, and (gasp) maybe DLD isn’t as cool as it once was.

It used to sell out in 10 mins. There's a big drop in demand. Don't take it personally.

Hasn't there also been a modest increase in supply as well?

You need to read a little better. I see you fall into (at least) the “******ed” category of my post.

Got my two group A tickets right at noon (went with best available option and they gave group A). No queue though. I did have to do two stupid captchas quickly.

It sold out in 10 mins when the fest was located in the fucking parking lot and had 5,000 or less people. Comparing apples to oranges man. It’s not 2011 anymore.

Well, they didn't sell tickets then so that's a silly comparison. When they started the fences and security they crashed music today and tickets were gone in 10 mins, then in 2014 crowd surge exploded and tickets were gone in 17 mins.

Tickets started in 2009 (but weren't required to attend, just to get bottles).

Fences started in 2011, along with tickets to attend.

You are right about tickets selling out in 10-15 minutes back in those days though.

When in doubt, defer to the historian. What year was it they hit 12k? 2011?

Dude you’re killing me here. I’m aware of the history of the fest. They most certainly sold tix when the fest was fenced off just to the parking lot and brewery and that’s when it was selling out in a matter of minutes. I know cuz I was there and the only reason I got tix the first few years I went was because I was either someone’s guest or I got tix at the pub (struck out online 3-4 years in a row). The fact that you think demand has dropped because the fest doesn’t sell out in 10-17 minutes anymore is asinine. Like I said, it’s not 2011 anymore or even 2014. @kodt I’m getting a little irritated with stupidity here. Can you please be the calm one and explain to @ericfoster83 the differences between 2011ish and the present?? It’s a lot of work, I know.

My room for the weekend is at the Springhill pretty much right across the street from FFF. Not sure if construction will be 100% done, but they have rooms open.

This year may have been the easiest I have experienced since my first year in 2014. Got on at 12 Central, put in queue on my phone then pretty much immediately got 2 A's. Keeps my streak alive at 5 years! Now we can get on to the month and a half of weather speculation, and varient rumors!
