Thanks to someone else, I’ll be going as Group A. Here’s to hoping they change the rules and make it first come, first served on the variants!

Honestly, I’m just pumped to go and hope to hit the taps more this year.

Same experience. Two devices open and waiting in queue. After 10 minutes I opened up a third device and got right in for group C. Got a buddy group D on the same device. Meanwhile the other two are still blue square hell. Left them on until 1:30 ET. In queue on both when I turned them off. Moral of the story - don’t wait in queue.

haha true, though honestly I am thru about half my bottles by the time I get in, on the bus and in line I go thru bottles knowing I need space in my bag for my DLs, but yeah the lower allowed amount sucks

They're not gonna regulate the 70oz rule. Unless you have an obscene amount of beer I'd bet you'll be fine.

Anyone know if internet speed really makes a huge difference? Everyone always says have a fast connection

I was on a laptop with average to mediocre wifi and I was on my Galaxy S9 with Verizon running off data. Verizon seems to be the best company out there with speed and service and honestly their data runs faster than my wifi.

My phone got through the queue in about 5 minutes for Group C and the laptop never did

There’s no rhyme or reason to any of this shit. People can speculate and make nerdy comments about internet speeds or whatever but in the end it boils down to luck. However, if you’re still using AOL broadband you might be in trouble.

2nd DLD! I struck out but 3 others got group c tickets for all of us. Can’t wait! Added 3 vanilla beans to a 2017 DL to celebrate!

For something like etix where it's just some weird queue system, no it does matter. For your typical F5 fest, it does not matter either unless you have a 14.4k modem perhaps. But what does the future portend thanks to the FCC f#ckfaces ending net neutrality? Stay tuned.

Think of ETiX like your grocery store checkout lines. I don't think it is first come first served from 1-10,000 in one line. Say they have like 100 different lines, and they put 1,000 people in each one. If your line is moving quick and people are completely transactions quicker you'll be up faster. A line with less people could take longer to process than a line with more people if a person in the smaller line takes 15 minutes to complete their transaction. I'm sure a lot of people kept their multi device windows open in queue after they secured tickets, so once they got in it took 15 minutes for ETIX to time them out and call the next person up in line.

Sooo...been scrolling and reading...didn't see anything about a variant OR band list yet? Did tickets just sell out to an event with no details?

I didn't get tickets but I'm not far from there so I'm going to the free bottle share before and bringing my"unlimited" amount of beer in my giant "cooller". That's right, FFF's! Mwahahaha!
Beating the system AND avoiding $180. I'm sure I'll have a few dark lord variants from this year's festival throughout the year.
(secretly upset that he doesn't get to wait in line for beer taps all day and go by rules with everyone else)

    1) Yes. Since they've done bands and variants it always has. (Edit: I think you probably know that.)
    B) Since you're close by stay tuned for in-person sales, probably in late April or early May at this point. Follow the Facebooks or Twitters. If you get one you applying it directly to your posterior should ease the butt-hurt. Good luck!

Maybe someone already said this (catching up, 2 pages to go), but I wonder if they have fewer tickets this year...?

Same for me, except I'm on AT&T. Got group A tickets while my PC we still waiting on the queue.

Well everyone who bought early tickets by guessing the password got to keep em, so there were fewer tickets available to sell on the actual day.
