Cherry chocolate rain: tart cherry forward slightly masks the chocolate. No signs of vanilla but, those who have had this beer know that has always been the case. At 19%abv the heat is very prominent. Will the cherry still be there after cellaring for a year? Wish they can down to 14%abv so I could enjoy now.
Coffee is life: it is no mash and grind but this beer holds its own. Coffee is not too overwhelming. At 13.3%abv this one. I'm not a big coffee drinker but this is how I wish coffee tasted.
I will be buying quite a few of both of these beers .

On the cherry choco rain, i get cherry alcohol. Not much else. Coffee is life, essy pass for me. Nothing special at all. Les ronces, id rather drink a bruesicle. They also have white choco '14 right now. The vanilla is holding STRONG. Really good.

Les Ronces was one of my favorites when it debuted. Can anyone comment on how the latest iteration holds up compared to the OG?

So could it be that Mash is being rebranded? Coffee is life is the new Mash & G? And I seem to recall something that sounded like it could be Mash & FT but wasn’t called that in the projected lineup list.

Edit: posted before refreshing. So maybe not M&G after all? What I’m really wondering is will we see M&FT (or something like?).

Putting myself at risk here for the Hoarder entitlement comments.....BUT I noticed that this year Hoarders only get access 30 minutes sooner vs. the 1 hour early entry for the past 3 years. It allowed a very relaxed entry and opportunity to try 3-4 pours before the crowds settled in. I get that it has caused a few kegs to kick early without the Reserve folks getting a pour, but it was a really nice benefit as being a Hoarder, and for my guests. Before I get the posts giving me the digital middle finger, I am asking @BruerJoel to see if the Hoarder line can get into the venue at least 15-20 min early before they start pouring. It used to give time to get the lay of the land, read the map and line up at the brewery I wanted to try first. The Bruery used to do this for a few years, but last year did not. At least, I recall getting into the festival around 12:15pm last year. Not a big deal last year, but if I'm only getting 30 minutes to get in, that cuts my advantage in half.

Any other Hoarders willing to comment and advocate? Did anyone else notice this? Beer folk (me included) are not always the best at reading the details of the these LONG emails from breweries. lol

I honestly don't think you'll get the digital middle finger over this one. I agree, the extra hour was a chance to kinda get your bearings and have a few pours. I usually got in about the same time and feel the same. I didn't go last year, but the year prior they really got us in there quick in relation to the line.

I'll just make it a point to get there a little earlier than I had planned on so I get in quicker.

The Hoarder line is super long and I'm always at the tail end of it because I fly in the morning of the party and can't really get there any earlier. The line does get in pretty fast, but it still takes some time... It would be really great to be let in early so we get to fully avail ourselves of the 30-minute head start. It would also be great to go back to having an hour head start next year!

Regardless, I'm really looking forward to the party!

They addressed this a little earlier in the thread. They were forced to adjust the timing this year, so RS gets 3.5 hours and Hoarders 4. Someone specifically asked if they could get let in before pouring to maximize that extra half hour and was told that they would do everything to make the process as efficient as possible.

So that was a polite way of saying "no" if I'm understanding correctly?

I bought 3 bottles. I honestly can't see how it would be bad.
