The previous Merkel lasted like a month. I picked up mine last Friday and I think they sold out that day. Those were released on 1/19. So you're def good.

The last iteration was $15/bottle so I'd imagine these will be as well.

Wish I could teleport to NY...........where that darn Jeanie when I need her. A quick fold of her arms, a nod of head.............and POOOOF...I'd be there.

Not sure why it’s taken this long to indulge in “Round The Bend;” just another classic example of Dan nailing the style at hand – Smooth, roasted dark chocolate, with hints of raisin/fruit. Perhaps, even the slightest notes of a creamy, vanilla-sweetness find their way in this magnificence. Regardless, the dark-roasted malt, sensible bitterness, beautiful light feel…extremely well balanced, and super clean with tons of flavor packed in @ 5%

On another note, Postscript on tap was outrageous

Looking to make a trip up the first week of April hitting Suarez and Sloop. Any advice on which to stop at first if I did this on a Saturday or Sunday? Is there any limit on what I can purchase bottle wise at Suarez?

I liked the atmosphere at Suarez better, and the beers aren't super high abv beers, so I would make that my second stop. Get a pretzel.

No limits on most of the bottles, just the Merkel, which I think is 3pp

Was thinking of doing a similar thing this weekend, have a wedding up in tarrytown and most of Saturday free. My in-laws live in the area so I've hit captain Lawrence, Peekskill, and even NEBCO and treehouse from their house. Any other places that are either on the way or nearby sloop or Suarez that I should try to sop at and grab cans or a growler? Just thought I'd ask for any other suggestions I might not be aware of. Thanks!

Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon is doing great things and would be on the way. Probably close to a first choice.
Industrial Arts is awesome. Definitely recommend.
A newer, little place that I found and had a nice time at when I was up that way recently was Obercreek in Wappingers Falls. Tiny, cozy place with only 4 rotating beers on tap. 3 guys started it and all still have their full time jobs. Super friendly, nice taproom and the beers ranged from solid to great. But this would be 3rd.
If you want a meal on your way back from Sloop/Suarez, Mill House in Poughkeepsie is good.

Thanks for the recco, I hit Hudson valley one the way back and was really impressed. Thought their beer was the best of the 3 (sloop/Suarez/Hudson Valley). Will definitely hit it up again when I'm up at my in-laws. Missed the crawlers of ultrasphere, but got to try it there and man what a delicious beer!

Postscript is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend y'all get some, especially as it's up for pours as well.

Does anyone know if pils cans are available at the brewery this week? They are not listed on the website but I am not sure if they typically list them there anyway?

Possibly a new batch of Qualify coming, considering Palatine was the last run

I facebook messaged them on March 24th and they promptly replied then saying they were out of pils cans but would have some in 2 weeks. They responded super fast, so if you have any questions I’d say dont hesitate to ask them thru that avenue. If two weeks was right then cans should be at the end of this week or so.

My hypothesis was wrong, but the conclusion is more than satisfactory:

    • “Also back in the tasting room this week at Palatine Pils cans. We've been so lost without them.”
