From my limited experience, it’s not about impressing people, it’s about sharing whatever you’re comfortable sharing with some of the most generous and nicest people you will meet in the Southern California beer community.

That said, I’m bringing any and all fun bottles I’ve been saving. I should have well more than a case with me.

Oh, I know! I just wanted an excuse to use that pic.

And I too will be bringing some fun bottles to share.

personally it's all about subjecting people to random shit I create like Barrel Works reduction sauces, HPB beer pickles, BL beer pickled dragon fruit and other shit I could think of.

Or in the case of the last York Blvd held one, subjecting folks to Peanut butter french pressed Parabola.

Just bring a bunch of stuff you want to pop. no one will judge you based on what you're bringing.

Last woodshop I went to (x) it rained. Now it’s likely gonna rain again. Do I have magical powers to end droughts?

Do we need to create a list of what people are bringing? We may be able to set up a few verticals.

Buddy and I are doing the full FFAC + Most of the Beat (not the 750s since do not own). Might be tough to share with a lot of ppl since btls are so small, but will try to spread the love.

Will also pull a Cantillon Gueuze Mag, Stone Woot stout mag and assorted loons/lambic

I'll bring a Batch 3 Beat. (Wasn't that the only 750 mL Beatification release?)

Let me know how the 2010 FFAC is drinking. I recently obtained one and it went straight to the offsite cellar....hehehe, along with a 750mL of Beat. I don't remember if the Beat was b2 or b3 though.

b3 was definitely 750, that was the batch they did mailorder for in September 2009. I've long regretted not buying considerably more.

Not sure! Lazar is organizing it. I just told him what I had and hopefully we can fill holes. I organized it in cellartracker by year so not sure which batch. But I have 12 and 13.

    Also have 11/12/15 ffac

Hey, @cquiroga , I bought a ticket for my buddy, but he can't go. If I give his ticket to somebody else I'm bringing, is that an issue at all for checkin?

A couple of last minute questions as we plan our arrival to this event (first timers, very excited!):

    1) Do a lot of people show up around 10AM? Or will it take a little while to really get going?
    2) Any idea if there will be an cooler space to keep bottles chilled throughout the day?

Thanks in advance, see you all out there!

There is usually a line at 10am. The reason is most folks/groups like to get tables and space to set up.

There are bins of ice set up throughout the space. Usually tags to put on your bottles as well.

...But you can still bring your own cooler bag, right?

I always found it better to bring your own cooler. While 95% of ppl that attend are cool, there will always be those few that either don't understand bottle sharing etiquette or else get too drunk to make intelligent decisions and then they just start opening random bottles they "find".

While this is fine so long as I get a pour of what I brought...it still irks me a tad.
