Not cool at all, when you do that you take that beer away from someone else. Be happy with the max you are allowed and move on.

 

I'm pretty sure that they are definitely not cool with it, and it would be especially shitty to even think about trying it today.

 

So anyone on line?

 

Way my brain processed when I saw OH IG post of JW tap takeover....in that order

1. We got to take tomorrow off...are you listening ...take tomorrow off ..we got to try these beers..
2. Instead we should just call in sick
3. You can always take half day off too
4. or Pseudo work from home?
5. Whats wrong with you its just beer
6. But its beer.........beer....FML
7. its going to cold and rainy
8. Whats wrong with you...things you do to get uptapped checkin :shame:

and it continues.........

 

Great post, wish more people would choose #5, sooner or later the madness would end.

 

I think the issue with Untappd is that a lot of the times the scores for a big adjunct stout or juicy IPA is that they are based on "impactfullness" of the beer. Unless someone is averaging out their scores of a certain beer over a period of multiple trials you are going to get someones first touch experience of a beer (usually). While I like using Untappd to see what buddies and beer trading people are drinking I find that most of my go-to favorite beers that I come back to again and again are usually in the 3.5 - 4 range. Just a thought - might be thinking too hard about this...

FYI to anyone heading over, it’s pouring here in Brooklyn. Dress appropriately in case there’s a line wait.

 

They have Monkish on tap. $5 4oz pours on most of the JW and EQ beers.

 

Prob about 50+ in line now

 

Have 200 bottles. Maybe 75 in line currently.

 

Yeah I'm gonna skip out...sounds like it will be pure pandemonium in the tap room

Pretty nutty that bottles sold out in 45 minutes on a Friday afternoon. Have any of the kegs kicked yet?

 

Nope still have everything. Tap room is pretty packed but only a 5-10 minute wait at the bar.

FYI simcoe/idaho7 is for the rochester release but its on tap and its amazing.

 

Nice that Andrew told a line of guys who tried to double-dip that they were not getting any more bottles.

 

This was my suspicion given that Socks showed up on the keg list a few weeks before the last mobile can release as well.
