True that. SMS has been on shelves at my Wegman's for a year or so already, and I love the access.

    Total Wine Everett $22.99

Dunno about limits or case count as the missus grabbed it.

Grabbed a 4-pack at Natick Total Wine for $22.99 as well. I think the limit was 1 4-pack limit per person. I know the limit for the bomber version was 1 bottle. They are well stocked right now.

Why the hell would anyone buy a $19.99 bomber when you can get a $22.99 4-pack?

Blanchards in marshfield was 27.99 for the four pack. I passed, seems like it can be easily had elsewhere for less

In stock at Georgio's in Billerica for $26.99 for a four-pack. One four-pack pp. They had the larger format too -- not sure on price.

Wegmans in Chestnut Hill has it for $20.99 a 4 pack with no limits. It was not on the floor. I had to ask for it.

Why this is still a "behind the counter" beer is really hard to not laugh at

I'll never understand why stores do that for any beer.

Ha, I almost replied with the same thing.

Considering CBS is the higher rated beer, and was fairly easy to find, I don't see how this is something you need to chase.

    Old habits die hard.

1 helpful aspect of this thread is to compare pricing, though.

I like how Wegmans is handling their limited availability stuff - they have a chalkboard outside the cooler (customers can’t enter it) with all the rarez & a checkmark if it’s still avail. If it is u just need to find an employee who will ration out 1-per.

That said they should just put Sip on the regular shelf at this point - bunch of other places in the area do.

Saw some bombers priced at $25.99... who is going to buy that? Someone obviously will, but if you can get a 4 pack for the same price (still not priced well), why would anyone opt for a worse format and less beer?

Yeah, that seems to be new in the past week or two - at least in Burlington. They have all the TG and Lawson's stuff on the chalkboard. Didn't have KBS up there - and I gots me a 4-pack at $20.99, so I'm good.
