Magoun's in Somerville has 16 oz pours of Proclamation for $7ish when they have it on. I forget what beer it was specifically, but it was good.

more second fiddle at Bacon's in Hudson, but I got the last 4 pack.

Decided to try Checkmate Chuck from Fort Hill since they never steer me wrong... and they continue not to. This is a delicious DIPA. Personally I like it a lot, lot more than Jigsaw.

Think they just need to work on their marketing, as lame as that sounds. They have a name that screams farm house brewing and they got these cool fresh pick cans, but then you get weird names and basic cans like this.

Personally I don't care, but I'd love for this brewery to blow up.

Jigsaw I always found to be a bit too harsh. 9.3% is too big an IPA for me.

But I do like FH. A lot. Grabbed a 6pk of el Chapo at the weekend. $12 for a sixer of lovely Galaxy ipa is a winner in my book.

yeah I got 3 or 4 cans of that left in my fridge too. Great beer.

This is apparently the same hops as fresh pick, but it's definitely a different beer. This manages to be both more bitter but also a tad bit of a sweeter touch. I'm really digging it.

I also personally love the 12oz can format, especially for 7+% beers.

I personally don't care for Fort Hill at all, but the price and format are awesome.

    Other brewer's should take note.

Anyone know if Aslin is actually distributing here now or is this keg possibly a hold over from EBF?

Grabbed a bottle of Central Waters Peruvian Morning (bourbon barrel-aged coffee imp stout) at CBC Newton.

Also, more Pipeworks bombers dropped at a bunch of places today. Unicorn's Revenge (DIPA) and Smore Money Smore Problems (imp stout).

I think it was $4.50 for a single, less per unit for a 4-pack.

Grabbed TipoPils at Spruce Creek in Kittery. $19.99 4 pack! However, after cracking a can I'm extremely glad I splurged. Definitely one of the best pils I've had, just wish the price warranted a weekly purchase.

Grabbed a $12 4pk of TG Golden Nugget at Nasty Nonnis. Sipping on one now. Think this is my favourite TG so far. Bit of juice, bit sweet, bit bitter. Really nice

Tipo was $22+ at CBC Belmont. I couldn't bring myself to buy one or four at that price.

Imagine how committed you would be to it tasting awesome at that price! That's really high for a pilsner, though doesn't it take more resources, particularly time to brew, to make one of those than a TH IPA?

If Oxbow just canned Luppolo it'd be game over...

I’ve been glad to see some more Plan Bee specialities popping up at finer retailers. Their Barn Beer is great—I’d drink it by the liter if I could find it on draft—but this Tulsi Blue (wild aged in oak on blueberries and holy basil) is outstanding and getting better with each sip.

Pricey ($17 from Gordon’s downtown) but I’d put it on par with HF’s similarly styled and priced Leaves of Grass series without the drive.
