I have to say that OH really ran it smoothly today.

They gave out wristbands, and not only that, about 20ish minutes before they came outside so people could start pre-paying in line. I just walked in and was handed a bottle after they cut off my wristband.

Got 6 beers on tap, and was out the door by 12:45.

All Eyez on Me was the best beer of the day for me by far. Followed by the Sours.

I had dhop5 and Even More Balanced, and they are actually fell short of my expectations because every Equilibrium beer I've had has been outstanding. THey were good, but, not wow like some of the others. I think it's just my personal taste though. I found the galaxy to be somewhat dry and clawing on the backend which I did not like. I also dislike Space Diamonds because of that (dhop6 was better than Space diamonds though). I do think Space Daydream helps even out the harshness of some Galaxy though and prefer that.

Last batch of Mylar Bags is fantastic, looking forward to trying it alongside Mylar Daydream.

Damn, you guys are getting ripped off. I can get passion fruit and dragonfruit for around $4 a piece at my local “produce specialist”.

Yes with fresh/ripe cantaloupe upfront followed by citrus, melon, some orange tang…balanced grapefruit and hop bitterness

All of the JWB stuff is kicked, they have DHop3, MC2 and General Relativity from Equilibrium left.

I recently tried maple creamies. I found it to be too sweet for my taste. Is Astro Travellin just as sweet?

I didn't think so. Still a sweet stout, but more balanced than Maple Creamies.

Developing a nuanced palate requires a fair bit of experimentation, focusing on various sensations, from smell to mouthfeel, and sampling and memorizing different food and the flavors they offer. Randy Mosher's Tasting Beer is an excellent start, reading-wise (don't eat it).
