Other Half in April

The original Mylar Bags was one of my favorites at the time it was first released, so it makes perfect sense that the Mylar Daydream is definitely my favorite of all the 'toses. It's so damn delicious.

 

Bit surprised OH didn’t team up with Mission Dolores this year for an anniversary brew

Well that plan is shot now, might have to come up with plan B, Trading In Person.

 

Huh? This will be a quiet release.

 

There is a very good chance of a midweek given the whole #staytunedformore bit and if DDH DMDD lasted till Friday I think there is a good chance midweek cans will last. This weekend's release is also going to be pretty quiet, ACE is a crowd pleaser but it doesn't bring out people like Triple Cream or crazy collabs.

 

I'm willing to wager that everything but ACE lasts until Sunday.

 

Mission did one with KCBC instead

Cellarmaker Tap Takeover in the Taproom 4/18. Fingers crossed they brew All Dank Everything again.

 

The irony is that I will be AT Cellarmaker that day...

(Cellmarker is good, but, most of our NYC/NY Flagships are a step above)

 

Agreed, but variety is nice too.

 

I really like Cellermaker, they also do a lot more styles than the majority of NYC breweries which crank out juice bombs more often than not. Mahattan Barrel Aged Vastness of Space is definitely better than any stout I've had from a NYC.

 

Other Half has been killing it with these tap takeovers. I really hope they continue to do them. They clearly draw big crowds. I had a few Cellarmaker beers at Toronado in SF a few years back and I remember them being very good.

 

Sam was out there recently too doing a collab. Maybe itll be some form of Juice Gymnastics (minus the Trillium part) since I couldn’t get my hands on one and heard it was awesome.
