So, I’ll answer your boring questions.

I punt ugly tekus cause why?

Either they are ugly or I have a distaste for certain tekus.

I also punt full beers! Why you ask? Cause most the time it’s a shitty beer by a good brewery. For instance tree house. I find their beer lately to be punt-able.

And as in why I do these. Cause it’s fun! It triggers cry baby fanboiz. Like most of you on beer advocate. Or it’s my money and I can do what I want with the stuff I purchase.

So get over yourselves and have some fun!!

    IT’S JUST BEER REMEMBER THAT!!

P.s. I can’t wait for my new goal post at the new location!!!!!

I often wonder if some of these chronic complainers are like this IRL or if this is just some over sensitive, humorless, stick in the mud costume they wear here to get attention. It almost makes me want to unignore them and see what they're up to now that triggered your reply. See ya Saturday. Cheers!

Why do people keep trying to impose their moral compass on the people running the brewery? It's pretty clear that the owners are trying to foster the following and that's probably not changing anytime soon.

I've lost count of the number of Equilibrium releases that I've been to, but I can say that I've never seen any of the stuff that people seem to be turning their nose at other than the one time I specifically went to try the beer share.

All you have to do is just get there are 12. The cans haven't been selling out, and by then most of the crowd has already dispersed.

The smashing of tekus and beers probably isn't too big of a deal, unless it turns in to something like disco demolition night at Comiskey....

I think all tekus should be smashed myself, but that's a thread unto itself.

Isn't this the best of both worlds? If you want cans, you show up whenever... either wait in line a bit or get a wristband and return (favors locals!!). Or show up in the afternoon and walk away with great beer nearly every weekend. If you want a line share, its done on brewery property in a contained place, with the brewery providing samples and free food. You can partake or not!
Not sure why the continued hate and criticism of the brewers, who have done nothing but provide amazing beer from day 1, great customer service and customer friendly, with the one "omission" that started this whole debate was apologized and immediately fixed!!!

@SirPuntsAlot. I enjoy your form and follow through on the punt. What is your training routine like? Are you more of a CrossFit athlete or are you a former soccer star?

Had the wife and kids in tow today so timed it for after the initial rush had died down. Was pleasantly surprised to pick up a dHop10 and lucked into the last TABA crowler in addition to today's releases.

dHop10 is as good or better as anything I've had from them, but also super impressed with the sour. Can't wait to crack into the other two.

I had been happy to pick up random cans and crowlers in the Binghamton area until now, but think more trips to the source are in the plans after today (especially when you can roll up later in the day, get everything, with zero waiting in line).

There really was no line today. I got there at 11:15 and was maybe 50th in line. Line started moving at 11:30 and I was in Holy Dog before noon. Unfortunately Middletown Muck is my least favorite Equilibrium beer by a long shot and it was 3 hours of driving for a beer I don't really like that much. Oh well, I guess they can't all be great.

OH all morning to Eq in the afternoon and experimental brisket!! FTW!!!

in all seriousness- i think it is pretty cool that they stagger their release time so they can attend OH and also to allow their customers to possibly hit both.. in addition pouring the OH beers onsite is very customer friendly..

I know they get bashed a ton and jokes are made (myself included) but they seem to really care for their loyal client base and want to constantly do the right thing...

I just hope you don't have people line-sharing 14% pastry stouts starting at 4am and then trying to race from Brooklyn to Middletown.

You would think the HazeBoiz & Lynelyfe bros would have a DD or possibly rent a Uhaul for their haul and transport of everyone back and forth... having that many cases of beer in your mom's CRV and the early AM pastry stout farts sounds like disiaster
