Other Half in April

Anyone tried the Gold Strap bottle yet? Debating picking one up but the bottled version isnt on tap to try.

 

hitting up the Sixpoint release so I'm hoping to stroll through in the afternoon for some brew, especially the Simcoe + Idaho 7 for fills if possible. Sounds right up my alley.

 

Thought the Universal on tap was weird and didn't taste right, in cans it's been awesome.

 

Maybe it just needs some time but this batch of Mylar Daydream does not stack up against the most recent batch of Mylar Bags, I'll do a side by side on Friday. Also I cracked a can of Triple Cream yesterday and it seemed really green, definitely need to sit on it for a week or two.

 

I didn't have the cans, but the draft I had last night was one of the most unpleasant OH beers I've had in a while.

 

Has anyone seen Gangsta Cat in the past few months?

 

I don't know about y'all, but I'm ready for some City Slickers and some Boogie Board Stuntz....

 

A Raining Threes successor would be nice as well.

 

I think that was supposed to be that oh...oh...oh... we saw the keg label for months ago but i have no idea when that is supposed to be now.

 

As long as the matching boogie board hat comes back too.

 

My GF keeps asking me the same thing....she is concerned. But, I have seen ZERO cats in the last couple months. Maybe it's a winter thing...

 

I don't think any batch of Mylar will ever stack up to that very first one. My God that was insane.

 

My buddy came by with 2 cans of Simcoe + Idaho 7 last night. All I can say is that it’s the perfect beer for me. A little juicy, bitter, full body with the classic Simcoe profile I’ve loved for years. Its the east meets west IPA that has the perfect appearance. I loved it so much I’ve decided to make my next beer with the same hops to try and mimic.

 

Glad you posted this, and hopefully it's still on tap tomorrow morning. This sounds right up my alley -- love Simcoe, and a bit of bitterness is important to my palate when it comes to NEIPAs. I get bored drinking joose.

 

Are we sure they won't just still have cans?

 

Their website and Untappd both say the cans are still available, but I have too much beer at home. Happy to just have a pour (famous last words).

 

Hoping tomorrow will be an ultra chill pick-up-all-cans-later type day, in light of what’s being released (not many insta comments), other releases in the area, torst event etc

 

I know I am asking newbie questions, in NYC right now, anyone know if there is cans left today and if there is any line, I really appreciate any info, first visit to OH. Be heading over around 3 pm
