Have you seen any of my sarcastic posts and/or WBAYDN?

Right on man, couldn’t remember which releases you’d been to. That porter, which I believe was a collab with Greenport, was really nice on a day full of IPAs.

And you’re still wrong about who did Idaho 7 better :sunglasses:.

Wow, forecast calling for 75 degrees on Saturday, will be an awesome time outdoors in that courtyard at release party!

We cannot comment on any other brewery owner's decision not to participate - we don't have the full details of that. There could be a variety of reasons why he or anyone decides to quit, and its impossible to know without asking and getting a direct response.

As far as our plans for participation, we don't have any plans to abruptly quit. As @rozzom already pointed out - it is a community, and we are all equals here. We have learned an immeasurable amount from others over the years and believe we are the longest-active member on this thread, and only hope we can give back as much in return. Although we believe the longevity speaks for itself and there is a considerable amount of equity and "beer karma" built up at this point, we're only as good as our latest contributions. Clearly there is a lot more to be learned.

We enjoy having a conversation with fans and customers, but its often more insightful and constructive to have conversations with those who are not superfans and take a contrarian position on things. After all, if this were only one giant stroke-a-thon, no one would be learning, progressing, and incorporating different viewpoints. We'd all just sit around and reinforce our own opinions and biases. In business or in your personal life, if all you want to do is surround yourself with yes-men and sycophants, that's usually the beginning of the end. For that reason and many others I'm looking forward to having beers with @rozzom @RobNewton @ScottKramer and whomever else wants to join us this Friday.

You're absolutely right. No one gets special treatment and you ask very good questions. It will be really fun to expound on them in person and share with the others as things develop too. And after taking a step back and looking at your point of contention, I can definitely see your point of view. The way I was delivering the information was pretty professionally embarrassing, even though it was just misguided enthusiasm for some really cool things we're working on. I'm confident you'll have a much better understanding after Friday.

    cheers

Obligatory monthly mention, usual cast of characters will be there around 12:15 or so and going the distance. You and anyone else who wants to have some beers together, let me know.

And just remembered, @rozzom coming too, would be great to see the two of you together!

    We can help with that.

should be a great time - @dhaakon has been trying to come for some time, but scheduling issues did not allow.
