Have no desire, they sunk all that money & they are opening & closing places down there like a turnstile. So many other choices, they can have it...

I’ve never had Julius but Love You, Bye was by far the most orange tasting beer I’ve ever had. I usually don’t pick out distinct fruits in hops, but this was crazy.

Both Julius and even King Julius have a district orange creamsicle flavor to them. Always think that when I drink them. I've never picked up a similar profile in other NE IPA's for the most part, but Love You, Bye was nearly spot on to Julius for me. Even when I asked the g/f blindly what beer it reminded her of, she immediately said Julius. So it wasn't just me!

Does Fat Heads Canton post their draft list anywhere? A quick look turned up nothing.

FTR, I think the KBS bottle I opened this week was as good as ever, maybe better.

Did it cash? I’ll be there for tomorrow’s session. Hoping it lasts. Peanut butter and Maple are two of my favs when done right. Good looking on the heads up! Posts like these make you remember what this threads suppose to be about. I’ll buy brews for who ever is there tomorrow. DM me... Do I get beer karma? For real DM me if anyone’s there tomorrow.

I’ve had Julius and KJ, but in your original post I thought you meant the original Orange Julius smoothie. Haha, guess I’m not as big of a fan of Treehouse as you are.

I actually don't love Tree House, but I do like a few of their beers. They just vary so much batch to batch... I've had some amazing Julius and some "meh" batches as well. I really like Green and Haze as well, but many of their beers do just blend together and to me, are a bit one dimensional. I much prefer Trillium overall!

Just suprised that given how popular TH is, that people have not tasted the similarity here. I know some people just don't want to like Saucy, but shove that beer in a TH can and you wouldn't tell the difference. This one in particular though, was really good IMO.

I will try it if i see it, but don’t like the shitty looking ipas enough to go out of my way.

Regarding the other point in your post, hype is real, and it is a very strong factor in perception. I am not dulusional enough to think I’m immune.

    Yes, yes, I know.

But to keep it on topic, I’m trying to dredge up the ambition to drive to willoughby. Not feeling it today

Man, there aren't enough active Ohio BA users in this community...can't believe I had to request to have Fat Head's Canton added. They sure know how to build a great bar--can't wait to see the new Middleburg Heights spot.

I'm absolutely stoked for this. It's going to be a madhouse when it first opens and I can't wait!

IMO, people's perception of coffee flavors is heavily marred by the Starbuck's diabetes concoctions society has been hit with for the last two decades

@Spider889 any releases on deck this weekend? I'm going to be in Columbus for a show on Sunday and FINALLY am going to be able to stop in.

Was anyone else surprised about the Willoughby Facebook announcement that it was low Saturday night? Did they run out during the Sunday event? I thought they made enough so that everyone who got a ticket got to try the special taps? Surprised to hear that they left it on Saturday night for anyone to try at the sake of people with Sunday tickets not getting a chance to try. I would have made sure that all my Sunday customers got a try and then let the Sunday night crowd drink the rest.

I didn’t go Sunday, but yes, every ticket holder is guaranteed the opportunity to purchase some. They obviously have dedicated kegs for each event, but they must not have sold as many Sat as they prepared for. The announcement they made at 3:00 when the event ended was “everything we had today will be available the rest of the night”. So that included Vietnamese, vanilla, and regular.

Not too difficult for them to have another keg set aside for Sunday. What they had allocated for Saturday was still leftover after Saturday's session.

Did not realize they had a dedicated keg for Sunday. When I first read the announcement and then saw your post, I thought it was strange that they were saying things like "Supply is extremely limited". If you don't know that they have a separate keg for Sunday, its not clear what is going on.

They had all 4 on tap as of yesterday afternoon. Or maybe it was Tuesday. Anyway, there was plenty for everyone and then made it two days into ‘Customer appreciation days.
