Pumpkinator countdown

This is much better fresh IMO. I had a 2011 Pumpkinator, and the next night I had the 2012 version I enjoyed it much more. The stout and pumpkin notes mellowed out a little too much for my taste. As far as I know there was only 1 bottle left at Spec's Round Rock. I picked up 2 on Saturday night.

 

Kroger in Keller ( north Fort Worth) no one here drinks good beer ( more for me)

 

$7.99 BTW, not to bad, they get fresh Endeavor @$5.99 as well

 

If Houston folks are still looking there were a few bottles still left at the Randall's at San Felipe and Sage.

 

I only make it back to College Station once a year, so I'm not familiar with what they can get a hold of. They had a pretty good looking tap wall on Saturday night though. Actually it was an amazing tap selection compared to what was available when I was a student there. I saw a few Karbach taps in other bars too.

 

Wow! I haven't been back since I was a student 4 years ago and let me just say that I'm impressed. I remember the tap list being ok but it didn't shout We Love Craft Beer as it does now.

 

FWIW, O'Bannons in College Station is tapping a cask of Pumkinator tonight at 6:00pm

 

Okay, so this stuff gives me the worst gas. I thought the couple of times it happened last year were maybe just a coincidence but after the bottle I had a couple of days ago... I mean wickedly foul gas. Everybody loves their own brand so when you're grossing yourself out you know it's bad.

I was surprised to see our Randall's had a spot for this when we were shopping yesterday. Gone, of course.

Ya gotta understand... the best thing my Randall's usually gets is SN Torpedo and Fireman's 4.

ya i kept finding rouge bottles at the weirdest places too, i think st arnolds distributor sent at least one case to every account
