Prop 12 by Tilted Barn. More top-shelf IPA from the best in RI. @tasterschoice62, please don't take offense. That last comment is based on my personal preference, though I think I could find a few that would echo the same. Cheers, everyone!!! Wishing you all the best of health. And that's no joke.

Did yard work for the first time this year today. Only to come inside and realize I had nothing appropriate for post yard work consumption. This damn weather has kept me stocking big beers up until now. Will need to make a run this weekend. Cheers.

It’s finally warm enough to sit out on the deck and have a beer after work! At least for a day that is.....

Good afternoon, all! I'm freezing my ass off and getting the grill prepped to smoke some boiled duck eggs for smoked egg "pâté." If anyone has any good tips on peeling boiled duck eggs, I'd love to hear them. These things have a thick shell with a membrane that clings to the white, making them more difficult to peel than chicken eggs by orders of magnitude. At least this pâté is going to be nice and rich, because there ain't much left except yolks after I mangled the hell out of these eggs. On top of that, winter seems to be making a return with snow forecast for Sunday. This Surly 60 Below is perfect. Rye IPA, nice and spicy, with lots of warming character for a chilly and windy day. Prost!

That was officially the last beer I bought as a Manhattan commuter last week. Now that I'm on Staten Island the pickins are just a wee bit slimmer .

You need to use a third party host like Tinypic, and then copy the 'Direct' link that they provide.

What I talked about on the 'What's your favorite 15 pack' thread this morning. Otter Creek's Daily Dose session IPA. It was cold and shitty and rainy this morning, but this afternoon the sun came out, and we actually have a nice Friday evening going on, to drink, read comic books and beer newspapers, etc. on our deck. Amy & I are having some pizza delivered, and we'll get in the hot tub when sun goes down. Happy Friday friends. I'll check in tomorrow to see what you're drinking with your breakfast.

Enjoy it while it lasts, my friend. Plus LI isn't doing so shabby these days for beer either. Here's hoping everything else works out for you as well.
