That's my favorite White Stripes album. What says you?

Also, do you prefer Jack or The White Stripes?

Finally got my hands on a taste of this at a FW tap takeover. Also got to pick the brain of Jeffers Richardson, their barrel maestro.

That was actually the original title of Slayer's Reign in Blood album, before they changed it at the last minute.

I know, I made them change it. I made them, with violence.

"Reign in Blood" was named in honor of me, because of the incident that led to the name change.

I am boozing it up at the New England Real Ale Fest.

I’ve had a few. The beers are flowing. And all is good. Cheers. This one was a golden ale from someone in the UK. And it was good. I am probably past the point of remembering the particular brewery.

New milkshake sours from Odd Side. Excellent stuff! Dark ruby/purple color with insane lasting head retention/thick lacing on the glass. Flavors of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy blackberries, blueberries, lemon, pear, green apple, melon, red grape, hay, and grass; balanced vanilla, cream, wheat, and biscuity malt sweetness; light lacto/Brett funk and yeast earthiness. Similar/muted aromas. Mild fruity/lactic tartness and fruit tang on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium-plus body; very creamy/silky lactose mouthfeel; light lactic acid, and fruit tang. Lightly increasing acidic/tangy fruit dryness. No pucker. Insanely drinkable. Very flavorful/refreshing, 4.5%. Hope these hit distro someday. I have loved pretty much all of the Milkshake sours I've had before. Super jammy fruit, balanced milkshake-like sweetness; and solid Brett/lacto complexity. 3.99

Thanks @MacMalt, English Barleywines are my favorite style. Very nice stuff. Flavors of big golden raisin, peach, plum, pear, apricot, red apple, caramel, brown sugar, bourbon, toasted oak, and brown bread; with lighter notes of coconut, vanilla, toffee, leather, herbal/grassy/peppery hops, and yeast earthiness. Similar/muted aromas; some increasing booze and stone fruits. Light herbal/grassy bitterness and bourbon/oak tannin spiciness on the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full body; moderately creamy/bready/grainy malt mouthfeel; light sticky hops and oak tannins. Lightly increasing bitter/tannic dryness; no cloying/astringency. Smooth sipping, mildly increasing warmth of 10.6%, minimal barrel booziness. Not as rich on malt sweetness as I expected, but it fits the style extremely well. Very well balanced fruity yeast and bready malts; not a ton of barrel, but adequate. 3.88

I love the White Stripes, but the vast array of work he’s done post White Stripes is amazing.

Oh, you didn't loose too much. They look good.
The fresher the egg the harder to peel because the membrane is still strong. Especially with duck eggs, as you have found out.

I really hope I'm not dragging tomorrow, but I got a nice box from Adidas, including the new Pharell's, so I should be looking like a proper Hunter on the soccer fields tomorrow. That said, I will say this, I love my best friend. I'm glad we're both alive to celebrate this bullsh*t. We met on the ball courts when we were both 12. I was pissed because his handle was better than mine. I give him sh*t for being a StoutHunter, but here's the truth: (ding, ding, ding)

THIS BEER IS BETTER than most IPAs, and you don't have to stand in line for it!!! Peace, to the baby. Peace to my homey. Cheers, brother!!!

P.S. I just told my boy to quit f*cking yelling at the TV. My neighbors are used to Christina singing.

Y'know, funny you should ask that - in a 4-pack here on LI, each can was 4.99, for about $20 for the 4-pack, right? And I had simultaneously purchased a 4-pack of 11% abv (12 oz bottles) of Allagash Curieux and thought that the local IPA tallboy seemed a bit pricey, y'know, relatively speaking... Definitely gave me pause, and I rarely figure price-point into my purchasing (heck, I'd already bought it by the time that registered)...
Anyway, yeah - it's a good beer - it has something of a distinct character though - kinda trying to wrap my brain around it right now as I have another - I gotta tag @Act25 here because a couple of his descriptors ring true with me as well - there is a cedar and incense element to it, accompanying various pale, citric, and tropical fruits - creating an earthy/herbal aspect, kinda reminding me of a sahti, which features juniper berries (think, gin) as opposed to hops... Very compelling, but this may be a personal preference thing...

For $6/can, I'd try one, but not commit to the what? $24 4-pack - y'know, just to make sure it suits your tastes...
